Aster skidded, holding Lily in his arms, luckily getting out of the building in time.
Lily was let down, as she created a light beam, killing a monster that was jumping up from behind Aster.
"Thanks Lily...your so helpful!" He hugged her, drawing his sword after breaking the hug.
Suddenly, the building were shoved aside as a towering monster roared, pale skin, red engravings on its skin, its eyes a glowing, evil red, as it's head turned, Aster abd Lily got insane chills.
"Lily?" He turned, as another light engulfed her, her outfit changed, her orb faded.
Her new outfit was a short, dark-ish blue top, that had a small, gold diamond shape at the top, just a few inches away from the neck, where a golden pendant lay on her neck, the necklace was short in length, but had a beautiful blue gem in the middle.
Covering the rest of her top half was a dark shirt, flowery at the top as it extended to the bottom, stopping just a few inches below her waist.white pants covered the rest of her lower body, dark heels woth a golden bottom on her feet.
Her hands glowed blue, symbolising new power.
"How?-" Lily and Aster realised the shard that the Goddess gave Lily reacted to her grief and closure, knowing they loved her and would reach a better place.
Aster suddenly saw the beasts legs begin to rush towards them, it's clawed fingers leaped at them, white, pale tendrils extended from the colossal monsters back.
Aster spun his sword, light suddenly appearing from it and destroying the tendrils, but Lily used a bolt of magic to send the arm back.
As it stumbled, Aster jumped onto it's right leg, digging into it with his blade.
Lily now focused, sending a row of bolts into its eyes.
The beast stumbled, falling into a crumbling house, as it screamed in agony.
"Now, my heir!"
Aster jumped up, making a light on his hand, creating a giant sword, pushing it down with his hand, as it plummeted down and it blew up the monster with the energy of light.
Lily didn't seem to be affected.
(His ultimate can only damage enemies unless redirected at somebody else.)
"Woah..." He breathed a sigh of relief. "That's probably a sign to get out of here...the people will escape aswell."
"Mhm." Lily nodded, understanding as they headed toward the nearest forest, north the way they came, Aster seemed to know that the town on the other side had something he needed.
"I will create...a future to believe in."
