"I'm male right now actually!" Kat called up to Mrs. Jewels
I smiled at him. He just seemed so free to be himself. That's what I wanted. I was pretty sure I was trans but my parents would never accept me if I told them and everything said at school always seemed to find a way back to home. Like when Kat came out, my parents said he was no longer allowed at my house and I wasn't allowed at his as he was a 'bad influence'. Plus there was my older brother who was no better than them. If the news got spread around the school he would most definitely act like I had some sort of disease that was going to turn him into a girl. If only there was a way I could come out without having everyone know. I couldn't think of any but I could think of something to help Kat with his problem.
"Hey Kat" I whispered "I know how you can let people know your gender without having to tell them."
"Really how?"
"Well I was thinking if you wore a bracelet that corresponds to the gender you currently are then people would be able to see it and if they asked you could just show them."
"I mean that might work. It could get overlooked though. I'll try it for a month and see how it goes."
"Alright that's it, head back to your seats!" Mrs. Jewels yelled
She apparently didn't realize that she had sat me and Kat right next to each other. We didn't talk anyways because we didn't have anything to say and she totally would've yelled at us.
