While waiting for the auction to begin, Eli began reading all the information on the mansion he bought. Apparently, the mansion belonged to a Count Jermaine Whose grandfather Had the mansion built by an architect named Martin Breaker, it only lasted two generations for Count Jermain to lose it all in gambling debts.

The mansion was repossessed buy the Merchant's guilt to collect all the money that count Jermaine owed to the guild. Anything valuables like paintings, sculptures and jewelry were taken out of the mansion, leaving only the furniture and essentials inside the mansion. Finally he came to the Designs and blueprints of the house, and the surrounding territory.

Opening in the door he saw it was a female clerk that came to speak to him Holding a tray with a masquerade mask and a paddle with a number 27.

"Sir, if you can please follow me, Ill take you to the auction. Here is your mask for anonymity and your number paddle to place bids."

Eli Place the masquerade mask on his face and the paddle, he was taken to a large Theatre room and then taken into one of the private boxes.

"Sir, this is a private room for yourself. If you wish to place your bid, could you please shout out, to get the auctioneers attention." He was then left to himself waiting for them auction to begin.

After roughly five minutes of waiting, a man came out in a tuxedo wearing a mesquite mask and it stood at a large podium.

"Our most esteemed Patrons of Carthage! Welcome to our most esteemed Auction House and begin our 38th auction of the year."

"For our first starting item, we a creation of one of our most famous "Witch of Carthage", Willow The purple nova."

"The item for auction is called Sacred Sanctuary. The item provides a ethereal barrier protecting the user from any monster Passing through it and their attacks. Its power depends on what magic stones are used."

"The starting bid will be 1,000 gems."

The crowd began to murmur to themselves and each other.

"What's wrong with it?"

"Will you lose any body part?"

"Yeah, we'll kill you the first time you use it?"

"Just tell us what the drawbacks are, of using the thing."

The auctioneer then began to rub the temple of his head, in frustration, knowing that this was going to happen.

"Fine! The side effect of using this magic item is that it attracts all monsters within the vicinity depending on the mana stone used."

The crowd soon began to shout out at the auctioneer.

"The things that death trap!"

"That's no sanctuary at all. That's just a monster beacon!"

"You had to be insane to purchase that thing!"

"How many do you have."

The auctioneer snapped out of his stupor and paid attention to the last person that spoke up.

"Number twenty-seven can repeat that again."

"I said, how many do you have in stock?"

The auctioneer looked through his paperwork and then spoke out. "We have roughly 13 of them."

"I'll purchase all of them for 30,000 gems."

Eli spoke-out, shocking everyone in the theatre, not understanding this madman who bought a deadly magical item. That would probably kill him in the first time he uses it.

The auctioneer slammed the gavel as fast as he can. Before the buyer changed his mind.

"Sold to number twenty-seven!"

A cheshire grin grew on Eli's face, because using his appraisal it revealed that he could trade those items to the system store for 30,000 MSP each.

'Now I have to go back to Willow's shop and look through all her dangers, magical items and see if I can get any MSP from them.'

He sat through all the items being bet on and waited for his potions to be placed on auction.
