Right then the three ladies woke up from their daze and attaked the distracted bunch of men. When the brilliance of their attacks died down a forcefield stood standing, in the few seconds of minute astonishment Cozbi used the crystal to teleport all of them to the beach. They appeared at the coastal side of the island between the turbulent waters and the slightly burned forest with quite a distance between the two groups. The land was badly scorched and riddled with craters from luna and Cozbi's fight earlier. They stared at each other with vigilance in case the other party should attack. Cozbi whispered to the boys as the stare down continued.
Cozbi:we need to split up in order to beat them. You six handle the three entangled while i try to stop the moon's descent and hopefully push it back."
Daniel asks with great excitement," you can do that? How powerful are you?"
Cozbi: well if i must say..."
Sam cuts him off rather quickly and rudely but it was not without reason.
Sam: now isn't the time for this, the more time we waste the more powerful they become and the more our chances of winning dwindle."
With that Cozbi takes off.
Jake: so what is the plan?'
At this moment they see Luna rise into the sky, her hands glowing wildly with a bright red light clearly preparing to attack.
Daniel: I'll handle this. Look for an opening and attack the others."
With that the second round commenced, without giving her the chance Daniel created a forcefield around luna and started compressing it forcing the girl to curl up into a ball. This however did not last as she burst out of her still shrinking prison with a brilliant, powerful burst of light and shot a beam of red light from both hands towards her foe a little angered by the fool who stood against her. Daniel, unperturbed, redirected the beam with a concave forcefield at the other two girls who were too laidback and over confident to avoid the beam in time. This gave the boys the oppening they needed to attack and they did just that.
Creating a stairway up to luna, Daniel sped up towards her but she waited till he was close enough and materialised several red speres which she detonated with him in its midst. The boy fell from his earlier height and smashed onto the gorund but luckily he had shielded himself in time and was not too badly hurt. As luna floated proudly in the sky, looking down on danny with a smirk, a palm with a sharp pointed black and yellow object coming out of it sped towards her from behind. Without even turning she caught Casimir's hand but he reacted fast, creating another stinger with his free hand, he used it to stab luna in the back drawing a groan of agony from the lady. She reflexively expelled a powerful burst of light which knocked Casimir down but he caught himself before he could hit the ground. Luna's body kept on shining brighter and brighter till she finally relesed a crimson beam which exuded frightening power. Casimir was in too much shock to evade and was almost hit by the beam when a forcefield materialized infront of him. He let out a sight of relief but his eyes constricted once more as he noticed small cracks start to appear on the shield. With great urgency he called a horde of bees which started pouring out of the forest. As they appeared a swirling dark mist encircled them altering them in a very noticeable degree. The insect armada was durable enough to withstand a few blows from luna so they were able to swarm her and disrupt her focus. Daniel again created a forcefield around her, trapping her with the horde of thousands of insects which all flapped their wings at an unnatural speed creating excessive heat. This coupled with the shrinking forcefield created a hell bubble which caused her to loose consciousness and the duo to fall onto the ground due to exhaustion.
On Sam's side things were not so good, above the now tempestuous waters Sam was struggling not to get sucked into a huge tornado Erica had transformed herself into. It got more difficult by the minute as lots of things both great and small got pulled towards his direction warranting him to either evade or die. Neo,who was nearest to sam was having an internal conflict. The voices in his head were getting louder and louder, he had thought he didn't feel much at all but now with all the guilt, the shame, helplessness and many other crushing emotions he couldn't even move not to mention helping anyone. As he was lost in his world of misery and self destruction the image of Sam on the verge of defeat or even death caught his eye and almost instinctively he took in a long, huge breath and let out an ear splitting scream that reverberated throughout all the island. The super sonic scream was so intense it caused Erica to revert back to her physical form and fall into the crazy waters and also broke Jake and Sebastian from the illusionary spell of Kamira.
Sam moves Erica out of the waters and hurls her to the dry land and unintentionally she hit a thick tree and fell unconscious. Now the only one left was Kamira who would be very tricky to deal with considering her powers got a boost from the secondary entanglement with the other girls and now her illusions could inflict damage although they would still disappear when touched. Sebastian possessed the unconscious body of Erica and the last phase of the fight commenced. Up in the sky lucifer was watching them, he had no interest in helping at all. They were all nothing more than a pass time, if they died then so be it although his precious crystal would have been wasted but if they survived then he would have to twist them into the most evil versions of themselves without them even realising it. He would use them to destroy the angels who banished him to the pathetic world of weak minded mortal men who live chasing their pathetic concept of power only to die even more sad deaths.
Cozbi: what do we have here? Sebastian, Sebastian, Sebastian, it would've been a good idea had she been the only host of that body but she is not, that demon inside her will spread its influence to him as well. Good thing it's only a temporary hold. Neo is not in his right mind, i can feel the stench of guilt all the way from here. Sam is too soft hearted ,if he hopes for them to win he needs to be heartless, ruthless and stone cold. Jake is as useless as always. How can a mere shape shifter compete in a battle like this?..."
As he was musing to himself Sebastian turned on the rest of his teammates. It was sudden and unexpected and it caught them completely off guard. He was being corrupted by the demon inside erica's body and his actions were not his own. His soul left erica's body and possesed Sam. Erica regained consciousness after he exited and so did luna, due to their secondary entanglement and sam too turned against them. The battle was fierce and surprisingly long and they gave it their all but with the turn of events the opposition was put down and Neo was taken along with the girls. As the distance between them widened the corrupted boys came to their senses but they fell unconscious shortly after and so did the rest.
