Casimir was about to begin when Cozbi stopped him.
Cozbi: no need i know where they are. See, while you all were in the arms of morpheus i did a little tracking and found that currently Neo is located in an abandoned subway, i believe thats what it's called, on the nearest continent, north from here."
Daniel : okay then let's get going."
Jake: then let's get going."
Sam: no."
Jake: i beg your pardon."
Sam: no one leaves here but me."
Sebastian:what are you talking about Neo could possibly be dead and you don't want us to go help him?"
Sam: that's not what i meant. What I'm saying is i need all of you to stay here incase something happens. I'll go with Cozbi to rescue Neo."
Sebastian:like he was of any help last time."
Cozbi: watch your tongue boy, i have slain much more prominent creatures than the likes of you. "
Jake: everyone just calm down, we're not enemies here, senseless bickering will only waste time we do not have. Neo is the priority and right now he needs us and fast, and the more if us there are the better."
Sam: i said no!"
Sebastian: who died and made you king."
Daniel: stop it! Look sam i get that you're trying to protect us but... "
Sam" no means no and that's final."
Sebastian: if you want me to stay, then make me stay."
Sam: gladly, at least then i wouldn't be forced to turn on my friends." He felt bad immediately these words left his mouth but he didn't back dowm. The atmosphere got stiff, everything hung in place not daring to move. Sam tried using his powers but a sharp pain cut through his body,forcing him to scream and fall to his knees. The others lowered their guard and rushed to help him but he flicked them to the far end of the infirmary. " let's go," Sam said to cozbi. Cozbi took out the teleportation crystal and sent both of them to the beach once more. There Sam collapsed onto the ground.
Cozbi: are you okay?"
Sam: Aaargh!! it hurts everywhere, i can't, my head."
Cozbi: I'm so sorry. "
With great dufficulty sam asked," what do you mean its your fault?"
Cozbi: well, due to my unfamiliarity with the creatures of the lower realm i failed to take into account the toll it would take on your bodies and minds when i did the compulsion spell on you and your friends."
Sam: you mean they're going to experience this pain too it they use their powers?"
Cozbi: precisely,but on the bright side your decision to forbid them from coming along proved to be the right one."
Sam: i guess you're right but what about me."
" here, this should help perfectly."Cozbi tossed sam an item resembling a badge with two snakes wound around each other,their heads facing opposite directions. He gazed at the snakes intently, his eyes narrowing. The eyes of the snakes glowed,though not too brightly but were reflected deep in Sam's eyes and a soft slithering sound passed through his ears. He broke out of his stupor a minute later, realising he was wearing a hospital gown. Cozbi saw his hesitation and smiled but he had done so for a second reson; the badge he had given sam was one he liked very much. It could cyphen power from someone the wearer has a strong connection to,for sam that would most definitely be his friends.
Sam: you wouldn't happen to have a change of clothes now do you?"
Cozbi: i do but it's a little..... different for you."
Sam: whatever it is I'm sure its better than this."
Cozbi takes out from his spacial artefact an inner garment and a silver armor and hands them to Sam. With a sigh Sam puts it on excluding the helmet with cozbi's guidance. In a second the armour adapts to Sam's build perfectly. Though a bit uncomfortable at first the outfit change proved an enjoyable experience for Sam. They set off using the crystal to teleport short distances toward the continent of Alsvern, a country called Belize.
