After painstakingly cutting the onion and cutting the other vegetables, Sonya took her phone and switched on her Wi-Fi. She wanted to watch a cooking video before preparing the food.
However, the signal on her phone was zero. A frown appeared on her face as she shook the phone repeatedly, but the signal remained the same.
Her eyes widened, she moved across the room, looking for where she could get a single bar, but it remained red.
"How come," she murmured, looking at the kitchen, "It was full a while ago," she drawled.
She couldn't understand how a wealthy household like the Coles could have a network issue and just as she walked out to find a signal outside, she bumped into Knorr.
"Knorr, where is Louise?" Sonya asked.
"He is in a conference meeting," Knorr lied. His eyelids twitched twice at the lie he had just told, as Louise wasn't in any meeting but in his study laughing his head off at Sonya's predicament.
