Louise found himself in the company of his college friends while he went shopping for groceries. Knorr refused to go alone, insisting that he tag along. He did not expect that just when they alighted from the car, his friends would be standing by the door to the store. They were surprised to see him, and after the initial shock, they forced him to allow them into his house.
The chatter of the men was making him annoyed. Who knew that even after college, they would still be noisy.
"How long has it been, Vin? Yes, for four months, Louise avoided us for four months," Michael said with an exaggerated sigh.
"It's useless sitting down with a bunch of babies who have refused to grow up," Louise said from the kitchen.
The three men strained their necks to look at him, who wore an apron and was cutting vegetables. They were seated in the dining room, observing Louise as he cooked the special meal he wanted to give as an apology gift.
