Louise and Sonya kissed under the rain, their hearts beating in tandem with each other. Sonya was inexperienced in this type of thing, and Louise dominated the kiss. He withdrew so he could examine her pallid cheeks, which had a fading pink tint due to the cold.
Taking her hand, he guided her to a place where she could stay out of the rain. With her mind still clouded by the kiss she had just shared with Louise, Sonya did not object. She was shocked to learn that Louise had stolen her first kiss in precisely the kind of romantic setting she had imagined.
"You must be cold; come on, let us get you inside so you can get warm," Louise suggested, rubbing her palm on his face with concern.
Sonya's last line of defense crumbled as a result of his serious expression and worry in his eyes. She allowed him to take her inside and watched him prepare a hot bath for her.
