Chapter 7 - Chapter 6 : Original Owner's Personality

Elurian felt like he was floating in the middle of darkness, falling into an abyss. He almost turned into a monster because of his carelessness with his own condition. He wondered why the privileges given by that entity were useless? So, where is he actually now?

At that moment, a white light appeared from above, heading towards him. The voice of a certain entity resonated in this place as if it were subconscious.

[You must be wondering why I didn't help you. There are certain things that get in my way, but that doesn't mean I won't try to help you. The fact that you can remember about secret information related to a blue moon was what I gave you. At your current level, you shouldn't be allowed to know that. Then, here I will explain the reason why you were affected by that wave of madness.]

Elurian fell silent as he felt his footing in the darkness as if an invisible floor had been created beneath him. His fall stopped and he began to see the white light spinning around him, then the entity's voice spoke again,

[Well, here is your subconscious. Try to stir up hidden memories and you will find the reason that triggered the madness.]

Elurian followed his lead and instinctively knew how to unearth his hidden memories. Then, he saw other lights appear one by one, reddish lights.

Each of the red lights represents a recording of his memory at a particular moment. At a glance, he saw a red light showing footage of his previous life as Ahn Seohyun. Elurian was a little surprised as he felt that his real name, Ahn Seohyun, felt strange now.

Finally he found the problem, there was another memory mixed in, it wasn't his, but at the same time it felt strangely familiar. Those were the memories of the original Elurian.

The original Elurian was'nt from this world. That fact was displayed in his recorded memories. Elurian watches a recording where the original Elurian appears.

°°°

Kneeling before the supreme existence, the small silver-haired figure heard the will of the supreme entity telling him, "It's time for you to become a vessel. Give your soul and body to the messenger."

The small silver-haired figure raised his head, replying in a respectful voice, "As you wish, Your Majesty."

°°°

Elurian widened his eyes; he finally discovered the reason he was affected by the wave of madness. That's because this body is a vessel specifically for messenger. Obviously, what the messenger meant couldn't be himself, right?

The entity answered as if it had been waiting for him to finish viewing the short recording.

[That's right, your body was something I stole from the messenger. Because the original owner has not completely gave his soul, so there are still remnants of him fused with you. Due to some of my wrong settings, you may have to suffer a bit until the original owner's personality no longer conflicts.]

Elurian felt that something wasn't right, as if the entity wasn't telling the truth, not that it was a lie, but rather like there was some important part that it wasn't telling.

"Why did you steal this body from the messenger for me? Isn't there another body I can use?" Elurian was also curious about who the messenger was and why the original owner was willing to sacrifice his soul and even his body.

[That body is the only one that can contain your soul. Because you are not from this world, so you cannot possess the body of a native of this world, it is causality that manages in here.]

Elurian didn't expect the entity to be willing to answer him. Compared to its answer, he was surprised at its tone which seemed to feel regret as if it did not wish Elurian to suffer.

"What should I do next?" Elurian only asked rhetorically, he actually already had his own plan. He just wanted to know if the entity had any other tasks for him in this world.

The ball of light flew around him, looking as if it was happy with his question.

[Firstly, you need to raise your level to the Appropriate and become an Appropriator.]

Elurian froze. He stared in disbelief at the ball of light that stopped in front of him. That level was not something ordinary people could reach, only guides had the privilege to reach it. Even other disciples may not be able to reach that level.

At the very least, other guide disciples will reach the Guardian level, which is equivalent to a high-level wizard, but does not yet have the realm of divinity.

"That's impossible!" Elurian felt that it was almost impossible to achieve because he needed divinity to reach the Appropriate level.

[You need to think of a way yourself, you don't really think it's impossible, right? What about your request to reset your world time? Doesn't that sound even more impossible?]

The entity's voice was heard laughing at him as if Elurian's assumption was completely ridiculous.

[Alright, it's time for you to wake up! You can't stay here too long. See you again. Of course, I will still talk to you occasionally.]

Elurian looked at him and let the white light envelop him until his consciousness returned to his body.

...

That night, Finnian was assigned to stand guard in front of Elurian's room. Guarding Rex Violet's reading room is also his responsibility. He wasn't worried at all because he had a special power that could make him wherever he wanted at once.

That's right, his power is Avatar. A kind of clone of himself that can act independently and also obey the main body. Power that is still within the limits of causality in this world because it is approved by the highest entity. Actually, Finnian got that power also with the blessing of that supreme entity.

Finnian standing guard in front of Elurian's room was his Avatar with half his skills. It was almost the fourth day and Rex Violet's disciple had not yet woken up. Meanwhile, Rex Violet goes to another Sanctuary to bring a healer here.

"If he woken up, will the training plan still be carried out?" Finnian was honestly looking forward to training Elurian, apart from being Rex Violet's disciple, he also made Finnian interested.

At that moment, Finnian's green eyes shone as he felt a strange energy coming from inside the room. He immediately turned around and pushed open the door only to saw the bed was empty.

Elurian wasn't there!
