Star interrupted the laughter, asking, "So what's the plan, Mr. Champion?" Amon responded, "First of all, just call me Amon. For now, let's focus on getting stronger gear. Voithon, please open up the shop for me." Voithon obliged and displayed the items Amon had seen before. 'Katana of the Mist has been purchased - 5 points left.' Amon held the new weapon in his hand, utterly enamored by its sharpness and mysterious aura, which seemed to declare its strength. Star couldn't resist a sarcastic comment, saying, "Wow, the champion is so strong now." Amon, still in awe of the sword, replied confidently, "Yes, I am strong."
Amon sheathed the katana and said, "Okay, let's go farm some orcs now." They set off, with Amon in the lead and Star bouncing behind him, muttering, "What a drag." After a while, they arrived at the location where Amon had fought the orc earlier. Star exclaimed, "What on earth happened here?" Amon replied, "I fought an orc." Star, clearly surprised, asked, "You lost, right?" Amon sighed and continued on. He leaped onto a tall building to get a better view of the area but saw no orcs. Perplexed, he decided to keep moving and eventually spotted some monsters. However, they weren't orcs; they were a group of skeletons wielding swords.
Amon was bewildered by this new type of monster, and Star expressed his disdain, calling them "undead freaks." Amon asked Star to explain, and Star reluctantly obliged, saying, "These are the skeleton warriors. They are known for their exceptional swordsmanship among the monsters in the curse. However, they are considered weaker than orcs due to their poor durability and strength. It would take them about 500 slashes to even damage you." Amon assessed the information and asked, "So, I can defeat these things?" Star replied confidently, "With ease."
Amon decided to approach cautiously and instructed Star to act as bait. Star, though displeased, agreed and explained his unique ability to Amon: "All the kings of monsters have one special skill. Mine is called Evade, which automatically helps me avoid incoming attacks at the cost of my mana." Amon was surprised and asked, "You guys have mana?" Star sighed and replied, "Yes, all monsters in the curse are made with mana." Amon hummed thoughtfully, absorbing this new piece of information.
In a hurry, Amon instructed Star to lure one of the skeletons over. Star cautiously approached the skeleton, capturing its attention and leading it to Amon. Amon engaged the skeleton, eager to test his new katana. He unleashed a barrage of slashes, but to his surprise, the skeleton parried them with subtle movements. Growing frustrated, Amon continued his assault. Star mockingly remarked, "Is this what you bought the katana for?" Amon, increasingly agitated, put more strength into his attacks, shattering the skeleton's weapon and piercing through it, causing it to perish. Amon was surprised by the skeleton's frailty, and Star sneered, "Told you they were weak. Let's wrap this up."
They repeated the strategy, using Star as bait to draw the skeletons toward Amon's sword, and successfully eliminated all the skeletons in the area. Deciding to call it a day, they returned home to check how many points Amon had earned.
