Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Otherworlder

Upon returning to the house, an atmosphere of familiarity enveloped the room as Skolo warmly greeted Voithon, as if they had known each other for an eternity. Amon and Star exchanged puzzled glances. Inquisitively, Amon asked Voithon to explain this connection. Voithon, with a knowing smile, elaborated on their history, revealing that they had shared tales of the past during many moonlit nights.

Star, ever impatient, interjected, "Alright, that's all great, but what's our next move?" Skolo, the Skeleton King, began to ponder and then addressed Amon, "You've completed the realm of training and are more than capable of facing the otherworlders. But, Star, you'll need to become stronger."

As Star began vehemently asserting his strength, boasting about his abilities, both Voithon and Skolo couldn't help but chuckle. Amon, deep in thought, made a decision. The idea that had been germinating in his mind now demanded action. "I believe it's time we push closer to breaking this curse, and we can use the otherworlders for information," he declared.

And so, they embarked on a new journey, encountering a diverse array of monsters, from brawny orcs to mischievous goblins, from ferocious trolls to elusive wolves, and from eerie spiders to scuttling creatures. Star couldn't resist adding his own humorous comments about each creature's peculiarities.

Skolo chimed in, explaining that otherworlders looked no different from humans. Amon made a mental note of this while scanning their surroundings for any sign of these elusive beings.

As their adventure unfolded, they neared a famous palace within central London. Skolo's resolve solidified, and Star, though visibly fatigued, eagerly voiced his desire to return home.

Pressing on, they suddenly noticed a figure, cloaked in mystery, darting away. It was undoubtedly an otherworlder. The moment their eyes locked, the otherworlder fled, and Amon sprang into action. "Star, Skolo, cut it off!" he ordered.

Their coordinated efforts paid off, and they cornered the cloaked figure. Amon approached cautiously, seeking to ease her fear. "Wait, I mean no harm," he assured her. In a surprisingly gentle voice, she responded, "Why are you traveling with monsters?"

Amon was taken aback, but Skolo intervened, "We aren't the same as those other monsters. Please don't be frightened." Star, attempting humor, quipped, "Yeah, don't worry, the only time you should be scared is when I get hungry."

The otherworlder hesitated, her confusion evident. She slowly removed her hood, revealing herself as a young girl. Amon was astounded by her presence. She inquired, "So, what do you guys want?"
