Samuel Johnson leaned lazily on the couch, spread his hands, and said, "Give me the phone."
Tim Morrison dangled his phone in front of Samuel, dodged when Samuel reached out to grab it, and said with a grin, "It's getting late, you should start getting ready, shouldn't you? Everyone's looking forward to seeing you make a grand entrance."
Everyone in the room below came to pay a visit to Mr. Johnson, after all.
Samuel Johnson, with his legs crossed, said languidly, "There's still time."
He paused, turned his head to glance at Joy Parker, who was almost burying her face in the cake by the coffee table, and said indifferently, "Joy, go wash your face and change into a dress before you come out."
Joy Parker protested, "Didn't you say it was early? Besides, why should I go? It's not my party."
Samuel Johnson waved her off, shooing her away like a little cat or dog.
