Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Meeting a Rival in Love Makes One Particularly Jealous

"Come over."

Amanda Smith obediently walked over.

"I have an interview for you here," the editor-in-chief pushed a folder in front of her, "the time and place have already been set, it's this afternoon. Also, I know you've been running around quite a bit lately, but they specifically asked for you, so I didn't have much choice."

They specifically asked for her?

Amanda Smith hesitated for a moment, then slowly opened the folder.

As soon as she opened the folder, what caught her eye was the face of a woman, beautiful as a lotus.

It was a very beautiful face that could be called pure without exaggeration. Even the unadorned ID photo did not detract from her beauty in the slightest; instead, there was a natural, lotus-like charm to it.

Tasha Moore?

Isn't this...

Amanda Smith's eyes darkened slightly.

"The recently famous violinist, I hear she has congenital heart disease, but she sure is beautiful." The editor-in-chief explained, "Many magazines have invited her recently, but she chose ours. This is exclusive news, you have to grasp it well!"

Amanda Smith pulled back her dark emotions and looked up slightly, nodding, "I understand."

"But..." the editor-in-chief looked at her skeptically, "Do you know her? Otherwise, how would she know about a journalist like you at our magazine group?"

"You really are joking," Amanda Smith smiled with her lips pressed together, revealing an innocent and guileless air, "How could a small-time journalist like me know a big star."

However, there was another person who knew her...

Her thoughts flowed, and her smile grew even more innocent.

She wondered, what did this woman want to do by seeking her out?

Amanda Smith arrived at HW Café, right at half-past one.

Tasha Moore was already sitting there.

The spot she had reserved was right by the window. Dressed in a white long dress and sitting by the window, her lovely silhouette alone was enough to make people linger and forget to leave.

Cradling her laptop and camera, Amanda Smith sat down across from her and nodded slightly, "Hello, Miss Moore."

Tasha Moore took a sip of coffee, her beautiful eyes swept over Amanda Smith's face before she indifferently withdrew her gaze, nodding reservedly, "Hello."

Beautiful people have their pride, and Amanda Smith didn't mind her cold and noble demeanor. She placed her laptop on the table, opened up her files, and addressed her, "I am a journalist from Terry Magazine Group, and I am here to..."

"Samuel has been staying at my place for the past week or so."

The beauty cut straight to the point, her voice clear and reserved with a completely assertive tone, yet delivered elegantly.

Amanda Smith's voice paused slightly, and she looked up at Tasha Moore with a smile, "Then I must thank Miss Moore for looking after him."

Her response had the airs of a wife, completely different from what Tasha Moore had anticipated.

Originally, Tasha planned to assert herself first, then wait for Amanda Smith to make a mistake and lose her temper. Only then would it be appropriate for her to respond with light sarcasm, compelling this woman to back off.

However, Amanda Smith's composed demeanor was now making her uncertain.

Rivalry heightens jealousy, and showing weakness first meant being at a disadvantage.

"I am dating Samuel," Tasha Moore steadied her emotions, took a small sip of her coffee, and smiled with an elegant and natural grace, "And what is your relationship with Samuel?"
