Samuel Johnson received the message and hurried to the hospital.
He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and inherited good genes from his parents, with a handsome face that attracted love letters from young girls in junior high. To this day, he couldn't even remember how many girlfriends he'd had.
But Tasha Moore was different; he had never dated such an elegant and beautiful woman in his life. She was like a delicate flower that he completely cherished, holding her in the palm of his hand with love.
And such a woman whom he held and loved in the palm of his hand had actually been taken into the operating room! When he received the news, hearing that Tasha had suffered a heart attack, and Amanda was there, he knew that wretched woman had been up to something again!
How shameless could she be!
It was bad enough that she had stolen his grandfather's affection from him since they were children, but now she even tried to meddle in his life!
A wild woman from who knows where, daring to covet the position of Mrs. Johnson, not considering that with her despicable status, she was not even worth looking at!
Samuel got out of the car and hurried to the entrance of the operating room, where Amanda was sitting. Upon seeing him, she was slightly startled and called out, "Samuel..."
"Slap!"
Upon seeing her, Samuel raised his hand and slapped Amanda across the face so hard that she stumbled several steps to the side!
Amanda turned her head with no expression on her face, her delicate lips split by his slap, blood trickling down her chin in a shocking sight.
Yet Samuel still didn't feel relieved. This morning, Mr. Johnson had hit him with a cane because of this woman, and now because of Amanda, his girlfriend had been put in jeopardy. New grievances and old resentments surged, turning his eyes red with anger!
"How can you be so shameless!" he gritted his teeth and scolded furiously, "Do you think that by killing her, I would be with you? Amanda, I've never seen a woman as vicious as you in my entire life!"
His loud voice drew the attention of people all around. Samuel was a man who cared about his image, and Amanda was, after all, a part of his family, whose dirty laundry shouldn't be aired in public. He pursed his lips slightly, glancing at Amanda's bleeding lips with disgust, "Why don't you go and clean that up? Or are you thinking of going to grandpa's again to complain? Uh, considering how scheming you are, complaining is second nature to you, isn't it!"
Ever since he was a child, he had endured beatings with Mr. Johnson's cane because of Amanda, countless times! Even though there was no proof that Amanda was the one who had tattled, who else could it have been but her?
This woman appeared meek and compliant, but behind the scenes, who knew how deep her scheming ran!
Samuel snorted coldly, turned his back, crossed his arms over his chest, and leaned against the wall, no longer paying attention to Amanda.
