Dean slapped his forehead and muttered, "The Old Man is doing it again… Sigh, when will he grow up?"
Zeke and Cass looked at Dean curiously.
Dean said, "Every once in a while, the Old Man says something knowledgeable and then likes to act mysteriously when you ask him how he knows it. From what my father told me, he's been doing it since before I was born."
Cass asked, "But why?"
Dean replied, "I don't know, maybe he thinks that it makes him look cool."
The boys looked at Leonel with judgmental eyes.
Leonel scoffed and said, "You guys are just jealous."
Zeke retorted, "That's my line."
The two stared at each other, neither willing to give in. Then they heard Cass's voice.
He said, "Guys, are you done? We have real work to do."
They both looked at him. Their eyes seemed to be asking the same question: *What work?*
Cass said, "Am I the only one who's worried about my education?"
