Xsmyv stepped out of the mansion and saw Jasper standing outside beside the Range Rover, waiting. He bowed to Xsmyv and opened the back door for her to get in.
"Madam, Boss told me to take you to the mall," Jasper informed.
Xsmyv stood halfway, unsure of what to do next. She was not used to this grand hospitality, but she welcomed her husband's gesture.
She walked into the car, and Jasper drove off. Xsmyv thought she had to call her friend Cecilia to help her choose a dress. She picked up her phone and dialed Cecilia's number.
"Someone's has forgotten me since she got married?" Cecilia teased.
"I wouldn't call if I did," Xsmyv giggled. Both friends shared a strong bond since their teen years.
"Cecilia, please come with me to get a dress; I know this is your specialty. I am attending an annual dinner with my husband. I am coming to pick you up."
Cecilia gladly stood up from her bed to get ready before Xsmyv came to pick her up.
Xsmyv picked Cecilia, and they headed for the mall.
"Jeez! Girl, your husband gave you a driver? I am so happy for you. I hope he continues to treat you well," Cecilia exclaimed.
"Well, he has been good to me, and he said he will."
"He surely is my friend; you have a driver and a Range Rover, girl." Both girls giggled and laughed about their lives.
"Now tell me, did you guys do the deed? You know your first night together as husband and wife." Cecilia rolled her eyes and made a funny sign. Xsmyv laughed and poked her forehead. "Cecilia, you are always full of dirty things."
"Did you guys?" Jasper, who was driving, was stunned. He murmured to himself, "I am sure I don't want to hear about my boss's time with his wife. Madam, please don't."
Xsmyv shyly looked at her friend and Jasper; she remembered how she welcomed her husband with her naked body. Although she has accepted the fact that she is married and sooner than later her husband will claim her. All her life, she has always wanted to fall madly in love and give herself to the love of her life; unfortunately, she is yet to reach there with her husband.
Cecilia kept on asking her questions about her first night; she cannot possibly say that she covered her eyes instead of her body. Their bickering was stopped by Jasper's call to Xsmyv.
"Madam, we have reached the mall." Xsmyv quickly walked out of the car, hoping her friend would change the topic.
Both friends strolled hand in hand as they searched for shops with elegant dinner gowns. Xsmyv's eyes lit up when she spotted a yellow, flowery gown. Cecilia noticed it too, and they both entered the shop. The salesgirl warmly welcomed them.
"Could I see the yellow gown, please?" Xsmyv inquired.
The salesgirl, noting Xsmyv's beauty and curves, revealed that the gown was an exquisite creation by her madam. Delicate flowers were artistically infused into the fabric, adorned with glistening diamonds. Leading Xsmyv to the dressing room, the salesgirl assisted her in trying on the dress.
Meanwhile, Shante, in another shop, spotted a yellow gown from across the aisle.
"Mum, we must get that dress," she declared, striding toward the shop with her mother, Claire.
Cecilia's eyes widened as Xsmyv emerged from the dressing room. "Oh my! You look stunning, Xsmyv. I'm sure your husband will be captivated." The other ladies in the shop nodded in agreement.
Shante and her mother, Claire, entered the shop and saw Xsmyv in the gorgeous gown. Shante fumed with anger. "Isn't that Xsmyv? What is she doing here? No one can afford clothes from Cruz."
"Don't worry, Mom. She wants to embarrass herself, so I'll help her do just that," Shante declared.
Shante approached the salesgirl confidently and declared, "I want to buy that dress she's wearing. She won't be able to pay for it."
Xsmyv glanced at her cousin Shante and chose to ignore them, focusing on purchasing the dress.
"I'll take the dress; please wrap it up, and I'll pay," Xsmyv requested.
"Hahaha, Xsmyv, did you win a lottery we don't know about? Do you even know how much it is?" Shante mocked.
"No, I don't, Shante, but I will find out," Xsmyv calmly responded.
Claire admired the dress for her daughter. Desiring Shante to mingle with the upper echelon of society, she thought if her daughter could capture the attention of the wealthy CEO of AD Group at the upcoming event, she might advise her to leave Aaron Dante. Additionally, she couldn't stand Xsmyv having the dress, as she believed Xsmyv had no money.
Cecilia, observing the confrontation, sighed in disgust. "Wow! Who do we have here? Queen Bee mother and Queen Bee daughter hovering around high-end neighborhoods. Are you done eating crumbs from the table of the rich?"
"How dare you, Cecilia, call my mother a bee," Shante retorted.
Xsmyv held Cecilia and said, "Don't waste your energy on things that don't matter." She turned to the salesgirl and inquired, "How much is this dress?"
"Eight Hundred and Fifty Thousand, Ma'am," the salesgirl replied. Xsmyv was taken aback; she hadn't expected the dress to be this expensive. She wondered if it was appropriate to spend such an amount on a dress using her husband's card and quickly sent him a text to confirm
