Ares' face flushed bright red, his silver irises widening in astonishment as he absorbed Eleanor's words and the gentle touch of her hand on his cheek. Despite her half-asleep state, her eyes sparkled with a warm, sleepy glow, and a soft smile played on her inviting pink lips.

His fangs retracted, and he let out a heavy sigh. "You need to be careful when you touch me, Little Bird," he cautioned, his voice low and husky. He carefully pulled her hands from his cheek, releasing his hold on her.
"Oh!" Eleanor's face flushed crimson and she jumped out of his lap, retreating several steps while clutching the bottle tightly to her chest. Her eyes sparkled with embarrassment, darting back and forth as her face grew even redder.
