Ares's eyes widened in shock as he turned to his wife. "What...?" His voice cracked.
Thea's head dropped, her heart heavy with sorrow. "I'm at a loss, but I suggest..."
Her words were abruptly cut off as a blood-red aura burst forth from Ares's body, his ruby eyes blazing with fury. Without a word, he stormed away.
Kaito let out a deep sigh. "Your Highness," he said, gently addressing Thea, who lifted her eyes to meet his. "What were you about to suggest?" he asked softly.
"In times like these," Thea began, "I always recommend having a loved one by the victim's side. Whatever triggered her divine flames, causing such destruction, it wasn't natural.. it was born from negative emotions. Anger and pain."
Kaito nodded thoughtfully and departed, leaving Thea to return to the chamber with a heavy heart.
As she closed the door, Indigo looked up from his mixing, his eyes locking onto the despair etched on his princess's face.
