Kaylan sat deeply and listened to her thoughts that she didn't even hear a sound in the room. All she knew at the moment was the fact she was doomed, she was back to her hell and it was a bit worse than death if they decided to keep her.
She could remember the ropes on her being loose as if a strange magic took place, she remembered how she ran, hoping and praying for her to leave safely or Gareth would kill her. She had made up her mind to start all over again and ask the moon goddess for forgiveness for her previous deeds and she was naive and consumed by fear and freedom.
Her mate was a narcissistic piece of shit but she had no right to send him to his death. He was not only a sacred Royal, he was chosen by the Moon goddess to be with her whether she liked it or not. She heard a footstep behind her and jerked up instantly.
