Ivana Bennett shuddered at the thought of the possibility.
"I have prepared something for you." Lucas Walker helped Ivana sit up, pressed the intercom, and ordered, "Bring it in."
The door was pushed open. The butler opened the room's door, and two elegantly-dressed young women stepped front and rear. They placed the items they held in their hands on the quilt before her.
Ivana turned her gaze in confusion, looking at the two sandalwood boxes releasing a faint fragrance before her. "What's this?"
Lucas Walker shrugged, smiling lightly. "Why don't you open it and see?"
Pretentious!
Although Ivana was curious, she made no move to check.
Noticing her lack of action, Lucas Walker lifted his finger to open the box. Ivana, unable to suppress her curiosity, shifted her gaze.
After all, curiosity is innate. Ivana wanted to know what was inside.
The first box opened, and the jewelry it was stuffed with immediately slid down, spilling over the bed.
