All around, the crowd was hooting and whistling.
The young man whose nose had been broken lightly tapped Garrett Granville's arm. "Hey, she seems pretty calm. Could she be a car enthusiast too?" he asked.
"Pfft!" Garrett scoffed dismissively. "I've been racing cars for years. Do you think I would be scared of a woman?"
Looking up at the woman in the car, Garrett jutted his chin out cockily.
"I like courageous chicks. If you manage to outdo me today, I'll give you my Ferrari," he boasted.
Ivana Bennett touched her forehead and glanced at Garrett's bright yellow Ferrari. The luxury cars amassed by her father in their garage were enough for a car show. She thought it would be best if he kept it to himself.
With a disparaging thought in her mind, she slid into the car.
"Well… let's get started!"
