As for Becca Reyes—
She slept with the blanket over her head, unresponsive to any noise within the dormitory.
Flossie Wright walked over.
She grabbed the corner of the blanket and lifted it off.
But, upon seeing the situation clearly, Flossie Wright couldn't help but be taken aback.
Under the military-green blanket, Becca Reyes stared blankly with bloodshot eyes. Her pupils were hollow and lifeless, surrounded by faint dark circles. Her face, expressionless and slightly numb.
Only when the blanket was lifted and the cold wind came in gusts did her eyeballs move, her gaze shifting to Flossie Wright.
"Breakfast."
Flossie Wright placed the warm breakfast by her pillow and frowned lightly.
"Thank you."
Becca Reyes propped herself up on her elbow on the bed, her entire demeanor listless.
"You have ten minutes," Flossie Wright said, brows furrowed as she looked down and glanced at her watch, her tone brooking no refusal, "meet me later for training."
"Huh?"
