"If not, then I'll take my leave, while also doing a favor."
His voice was cold, but believable.
Taken aback, Willie Ash chuckled nervously and responded, "What favor? Just mention it and I'll be sure to make it happen."
"Is the tent ready?" Glenn Hutchinson suddenly inquired, his eyebrows knitting together.
"Yes. We specially set it up, a two-person tent, it won't get in the way."
Willie Ash hastily nodded his head.
Flossie Wright is an acquaintance, but only to them. Other Forces are also stationed here.
They'd been conspicuous enough already; they couldn't rudely clear out a nice spot for Flossie in the existing tents, but neither could they allow her to stay with the other injured soldiers. The Captain wouldn't allow it and it would be too much for their hearts to bear. So, Willie Ash took the initiative to provide her with a slightly smaller tent where she could rest.
As long as it didn't inconvenience others, it was fine.
