Chapter 1 - 002 Crossed over

The room she was in was no more than fifteen square meters, with layers upon layers of newspaper pasted on the walls, some of which had already yellowed.

The chipped wooden door was coated in yellow paint, next to which was a wooden shelf with a red basin on it. Opposite her was a red wooden cabinet, on top of which were placed a large white tea jar and a red thermos bottle.

The bed she was lying on, no, the bed was alongside a small clothing wardrobe, on top of which was stacked a pile of bedding.

Lucy Sullivan rubbed her eyes in disbelief, confirming she was not seeing things.

Lucy Sullivan stared blankly at the ceiling, she could hardly believe that she had time-travelled, into a novel, and become the tragic supporting female character in the story.

She remembered her mother, Ms. Williams, eagerly sharing this book with her, saying that the name of the supporting female character in it was exactly the same as hers. Ms. Williams, who has read all kinds of web novels, seriously cautioned her, "Lucy, you must memorize the content of this book, just in case you transmigrate into it someday."

She remembered how she had rolled her eyes then, but she didn't expect that she would really end up in this book.
