Chapter Eight
His voice was ghostly, as if he wanted to etch every word clearly into her mind, never to be forgotten for a lifetime.
Sofia Hamilton retorted angrily, "In your dreams!"
Even if she still had feelings for him in her heart, she would never admit it!
Because of the incident with her mother, it was impossible for her to return to his side in this lifetime.
She spoke through clenched teeth, vowing vehemently, yet he appeared deaf to her words and softened his voice as he spoke to her, "Go change your clothes."
"Why should I change?"
"If you haven't changed within twenty minutes, I don't mind helping you change. After all, it's been a long time since I saw you last."
"You..." She flushed with anger, and after a long while, she sneered, "Shameless!"
He didn't care about her sarcasm. Standing up, he let her go, "You should know that I mean what I say. If in a while I come in and don't see you changed out of these clothes, I will help you change them myself."
