Chapter 10
Footsteps sounded from behind.
She turned around and, bewildered and confused, saw Ryan Gregory.
How could he be here?
Ryan obviously hadn't expected her to be here either, a flash of surprise crossing his eyes before he quickly regained his composure.
"What are you doing here?"
Sofia Hamilton found it hard to control her emotions, especially when she thought of that cufflink, which she simply couldn't get out of her head.
Once her emotions surged, she couldn't push them back down, and with tears in her eyes, she approached him, glaring at him, "Ryan Gregory, what are you doing here? To confess? Do you even know how to confess? How many people have died by your hands? Can you truly repent for that?"
Ryan Gregory furrowed his brows, staring intently at her, "Sofia, I just came to have a look."
"What's there to look at? She's my mom, not yours. What does it have to do with you? Just go, leave!!"
