Only he, Ryan Gregory, the young master, could say something so hurtful.
Ryan Gregory appeared from nowhere, swaggered over, pulled out a chair, and sat opposite her, looking at her as if she were a clown, the corners of his mouth tinged with a contemptuous smile, "Eating and not gaining weight, it's simply a waste."

Sofia felt sure he was insulting her!
She glared at him, dissatisfied, "You're the idiot."
"Able to eat and sleep, now what time is it, and you've just gotten up." He sat there leisurely, as if determined to pick on a flaw in her.
Upon hearing this, Sofia was not pleased and retorted, "I don't usually sleep so late, to wake up at this hour would have to be your fault..."
Before she could finish, Lydia Mitchell was already laughing beside them.
Lydia cast a meaningful glance at the two of them and said with a hint of nuance, "Regina, waking up late just after getting married, I can understand, it's alright."
"..." Sofia's face instantly flushed red. Why did she feel her mother-in-law's words had a hidden meaning?

Ryan stood up, "Hurry up and eat, then go change your clothes."
"For what?"
"Why ask so many questions!"

Sofia grumbled discontentedly, "Of course I have to ask. What if you sell me and I don't even know about it?"
With a character as foul as his, he might really sell her off...
"You're not even worth selling!"

She looked at him in surprise. She had spoken so softly, yet he could still hear her?
But what had he just said? She wasn't worth anything?
As Sofia recovered from the shock and was about to retort, Ryan had already walked away.
She had no idea where he planned to take her.
Today, she definitely had to get out of this place.
The Brown Family really should have sent a rescuer by now. Were they not worried she would keep assuming Regina Brown's identity and refuse to leave?

As Sofia was muttering to herself, she saw Aaron Brown come in. He greeted Lydia politely, then glanced at Sofia and said, "There's a bit of an emergency at home, and I'd like to take my sister back for a while."
Lydia, being understanding, immediately agreed, "Of course, that's fine."
"But, what happened at your place? Is it serious? Should I have Ryan go with you?"
Aaron smiled, "No need, it's just my mom, she can't bear to be away from Regina, and she's feeling a bit unwell, wanting to see her."
"Oh, then you should hurry back with Regina."
Sofia listened from the side, her heart quietly rejoicing. This was fantastic!!
