Chereads / Naruto : Hinata Hyuga / Chapter 57 - They are going to die....

Chapter 57 - They are going to die....

As Kimimaro started to bandage my hand with the utmost care, I looked into the sky with a pensive expression. This was truly unexpected, even for me.

'Who is so eager to die? I swear if I find him, he will regret coming out from his mother's cunt,'

'Only I have the right to touch the things that are mine, and this was blasphemy.'

.

"Lady Hinata, you have to calm down," Kimimaro spoke with a concerned voice after he had finished wrapping the straps around my hand.

"Yes, I should calm down," and I calmed down.

Taking a deep breath, I whispered, particularly to no one, "If you are done watching, you can come out."

Soon, more than 50 clan members appeared in their ninja gear, ready to wage war on anyone. Leading them was my dear father.

.

Breaking the silence with his heavy steps, he walked towards me. "Are you okay?" he asked, looking at my hand.

'Concerned about your princess more than your other daughters, hehe. I love you, Daddy.'

"Hmm, I am fine, Father," I nodded to him.

"Did you find anything?" he asked, looking at the cage-bone.

"Nothing, it was a dead end," I replied to him with closed eyes, still searching for clues in my mind.

"Damn it, it was the second time," clenching his fist in frustration, he spoke.

.

"Let's go; here is nothing now," I suggested.

"Hmmm," he hummed, and one by one, everyone started to disappear from there.

However, when I reached the clan compounds, I found something that caused me to raise my eyebrows in intrigue.

All the guards on patrol duty were standing in a straight line, their faces glistening in the moonlight due to the cold sweat.

They had proved useless once again; it happened twice, and they couldn't do anything.

I, with my four laceys, stood some distance away under a tree, my back leaning against the trunk.

'Oh, the show is about to start. Where are my apples?'

.

*munch*

The sweet and sour taste of juicy apple graced my tongue and throat, sending a pleasurable shiver down my spine.

*gulp*

An audible gulp was heard by the guards, but none dared to look at me.

Soon, the honorable father appeared in front of them, and he looked as if he were about to eat them alive.

His cold eyes scanned them, and his Byakugan activated subconsciously in anger.

'Ohh, if he had my eyes, he would have turned them into meat paste with such intensity.'

.

"You amazed me once again with your pathetic performance," he said.

All the guards lowered their heads in shame, incapable of making any eye contact. They knew they were wrong, and only punishments awaited them.

"Someone kidnapped the children of our clan under your noses. What do you want to say about this?"

The guards didn't say anything, just looking at their feet.

"You didn't answer my question," he roared in anger, making them flinch.

'Why does this line look familiar?' I mused, quietly munching the apple, not breaking the tension.

.

"It's our fault; we were useless," their voices sounded guilty.

"YES, that's the right answer," dear father made them feel even more guilty.

"And you know the punishment for it, don't you?" My father started to raise his hand in a specific hand sign, which the guards were familiar with.

'First, you emotionally torture them, then physically. Are you sure, Father, you're not taking pages from my book?'

.

And instantly, the seal on their foreheads lit up.

'Poor men, getting exploited by the main house again, even after they wholeheartedly served the clan. Tch, cruel father.'

"That's enough, Father. It's not their fault," I spoke, portraying myself as the righteous goddess for them.

Everyone looked at me with questions in their eyes, but the guards were visibly relaxed, and their eyes flickered with hope.

'Maybe it's good to change with time; after all, these men were very loyal to us, or am I getting soft with time... meh... I will find better ways to exploit them.'

.

And in this instant, their respect for me skyrocketed.

"The invader was very strong, and they couldn't activate their eyes all the time, and the realization is enough for them," I said, appearing beside my father.

"But we have to do something about it. If the guards are weak, we have to make them strong,"

My father closed his eyes, considering my opinion. For a few minutes, he just stayed silent.

"Are you sure about this?" he asked about the punishment they deserve.

I nodded to him, "If anything like this happens again, I will make sure to do it personally, and nobody is going to like it."

"Do you hear her? This is your last chance," my father said and dismissed them.

Before leaving, they shot a gratitude-filled stare, which I deserved.

.

Father was also about to leave; the little girls were in his arms, sleeping and dreaming about when their beloved sister would give them chocolates.

"Wait, Father."

Tilting his head, he looked at me, "What is it, Princess? Do you need anything?"

"I want to hold a clan meeting, call all the elders," I said.

"This late?" he asked.

"Yes, it is important," I left no room for him to decline my request.

---

*step*

*step*

As my feet hit the ground, with each step, the hallway through which I was walking echoed with rhythm.

And no, I was not casting a genjutsu, even though I could.

Two guards were protecting the entrance of the room. With a subtle nod to acknowledge their presence, I walked inside the room. It was dimly lit, with candles hanging on the walls, flickering as if wanting to extinguish.

The elders were already present, sitting on their respective chairs, their bodyguards standing behind them, and mine walking behind me.

My fingers trailed the arms of Chair-sama, the seat that would weigh someone as magnificent as me.

.

"Little girl, what's so important that you have to wake us up at this time?" the eldest elder asked when I sat comfortably on the chair, my back leaning against it, and both of my hands placed on its arms, like a certain someone.

Taking a breath, I looked into their eyes before speaking, "In one month, something big is going to happen."

Their backs straightened, their eyes became focused. "What do you mean by that?" the old man asked.

'It's time to spout bullshit with a sincere face.'

.

"The Uchihas,"

"What about them?" this time my father asked.

"They are going to DIE,"

Silence ascended in the room. It took a few seconds for their minds to process what they heard.

"Huh…?"

"Stop joking, little girl," the second elder said with a short chuckle.

My face remained the same. "Am I smiling?" I asked calmly.

"Or have you forgotten what my eyes are capable of?" In a burst of chakra pulse from my eyes, the table and chairs cracked from many places, and their hair fluttered back.

.

"Stop it, Hinata. I just asked because it was unreal," the elder raised his hand.

And in an instant, everything was gone, as if it were an illusion.

Only the clan elders knew about my ability to see the future, and it only gave them more reason to favor me.

'I was the favored child of the Hyugas.'

.

This was the same trick I pulled when I abducted Haku-chan and Kimimaro.

"Okay, tell us, what did you see?" Elder Kazuya asked, this time more seriously than ever.

"I can see the pieces; you can solve the puzzle on your own. So it's like this… the Hokage, Danzo Simura, the two advisors giving orders to Itachi Uchiha, a masked man with one Sharingan collecting the eyes of dead Uchiha police members, Itachi standing in front of his dead parents, sparing only his younger brother, the ground painted with blood," I gave them the puzzle to solve.

'Of course, I could have given them a detailed version, but what's the fun in that?'

.

For the next five minutes, the room was in silence before Elder Kazuya spoke, "The Hokage and council ordered their own kid to murder the whole Uchiha clan. Then, they would put all the blame on that kid, and nobody would question the Hokage and others. All the people and clans would believe it was done by that traitorous kid," Elder Kazuya summed up the story.

I have to say he has a brain of the highest caliber, despite his age.

A panic started to brew up in their hearts, the fear of being exterminated. The village didn't feel safe at all.

If this could happen to Uchihas, and Senjus mysteriously went extinct, what would stop the same thing from happening to them? Maybe the next number was theirs.

.

I looked at their eyes, and I couldn't blame them for reacting this way; after all, this was their instinct for survival.

All their eyes landed on beautiful me.

"What, I am just a child," 'the devil child.'

"Should we inform the Uchiha clan?" one of the elders asked.

"No, absolutely not. We are going to pretend as if nothing had happened," my father firmly stated.

.

I nodded to him in agreement. "You are right, Father. This is none of our business."

"And after that, we will be the strongest clan in the village, so our grasp over the village will be tightened,"

"And they couldn't launch their attack on us because of the fear of another village invading Konoha, and when they try, we will be more powerful than ever," I said with a smile.

"And we will take advantage of the situation," I added with a mysterious smile.

"Huh… advantage… elaborate, please," one of the elders said.

"So this is something like this...…." I finished explaining my plan.

"This is too risky…." my father raised his voice.

"No, Father, we have to squeeze every chance we get. Am I wrong, gramps?" I asked.

The conversation went on for some time. Eventually, my father had to nod his head in agreement with a grumpy look.

.

When everything was settled, I spoke, "What do you think about the jinchuriki?"

Ren's ears perked up at the mention of Naruto, but I ignored him.

"What do you mean by that?" my father asked.

"Naruto, my classmate with blonde hair and whiskers," I elaborated for him.

"We already know him, don't talk in riddles. Come to the point, girl," the elder asked.

.

"What if… we took him in? We would have the power of the Nine-Tailed Fox," I spoke with a glint in my eyes.

I could see the changing expressions on their faces.

'Oh my me, how much I'm loving this.'

.

'I will become friends with my little fox, and the elders and my father will support me. Hehe, what good clan heiress I am, making my clan powerful.'

"Hokage wouldn't allow this even in his last breath. It will shift the power balance, and the Tailed Beasts are the weapons of the Hokage. Why do you think the boy was not taken to other clans?" my father said.

"I know, Father, but… hehe…. Do you know everybody hates him in the class, thinking that he is the demon fox, and I could see the boy's desperation to make friends and get recognized," I said.

"I don't know what you're getting at," my father said.

"But I know where she is going, continue girl," the elder said with a smirk.

.

"So tell me, Father, what would happen if he managed to make a friend and get recognized, although we will do it secretly," I asked, matching the elder's smirk.

"He will grow attached to that person," my father muttered.

"Bingo, he will get his friend, and we will get the nine tails," I said with a sly smile forming on my lips.

.

Hearing the name of the power of the Nine Tails, all of their eyes lit up, and greed was drooling from them.

The meeting room looked nothing like a noble clan but some shady people plotting something evil.

'Oh my, how much I like to make them feel that they are in charge.'

.

"So it is settled then. I will make the boy grow attached to our clan," I rubbed my hands as my eyes were covered by the shadows.

The conversation went on as I whispered to them.

But the entire time when I brought up the topic of Naruto, Ren was staring at my head as if the ground was disappearing beneath his feet.
