A homeless boy with brown eyes happily ran to an alley, his eyes brimming with excitement because he had just stolen a wallet from a naive brat.

He lived in the orphanage, he was nothing special, with no talent in shinobi arts, to put it simply, he was a waste of space.

That was the reason Uncle Danzo hadn't given him his sweet candy.

.

"Let's see what's in it," he quickly opened the wallet in hopes of finding a good chunk of money because that girl was wearing rich clothes.

"What?" his face distorted as he opened the wallet. There was no money, not at all, only a discount coupon for a family dinner.

His family was crushed by Kurama's paws, just like an ant crushed by a foot.

.

Seeing the image of a happy family drawn on the coupon only served to scratch the wound in his heart.

"Damn, it was for nothing," he growled, punching the nearby wall.

But soon his gaze settled on another piece of paper in the wallet. With a disgruntled look, he opened the paper.

"Hehe, like what you see, bitch," he read, and there was a middle finger drawn on it, with a smiling face beneath, adding salt to injuries.

.

"Damn it," the boy cursed the girl's seven generations for playing such a prank, making fun of him because he was an orphan.

In a fit of anger, he threw the coupon, and it flew onto the streets.

.

"Look, father," a small boy who was walking on the streets picked up the coupon and showed it to his father.

His father looked at the coupon and with a smile said, "Lady luck is on our side. Let me take you to a restaurant."

With a happy smile, the family walked towards the restaurant, making the orphan boy who was watching from the alley cry at his miserable life.

A piece of paper made one family happy and the other depressed; such was life in the bustling streets of Konoha.

*

"Hey Ren, do you believe in karma?" I asked as I watched the events unfold in front of my eyes with a blissful smile.

Ren thought for a moment, a puzzled expression on his face. "I think I believe in karma. If you do something good, good happens to you. And if you do something bad, bad happens to you," he shared his philosophy.

.

"Oh, is that so? So tell me, if a person saved a dying man and sheltered him in his home, and after some time the enemies of that man come to his home and murder his wife and children in front of his eyes and then him, so tell me, where is his good karma? He died because he did something good," I asked him with a curious look.

His eyes closed, deep in thought, his philosophy was challenged. With a sigh, he replied, "I don't have an answer to your question, Lady Hinata."

"I see," I nodded to him.

.

Lifting the mood, with a giggle, I asked, "So my karma got equal or canceled because one of them is happy and the other one is sad, hehe."

"No, my lady, our boat is literally sailing in an ocean of sins," he calmly replied.

.

Hearing his words, I felt as if a bucket of cold water had been poured on my head in the middle of winter.

"You don't have to be so mean, Ren," I quietly whispered in a sad voice.

.

Ren looked at me, his face deadpan, his lips twitching at my audacity.

"With your power, chakra, talent, potential, skills, and intelligence, you should be doing some groundbreaking things like creating amazing jutsus, making new types of seals, creating some incurable poison and disease, new methods of performing ninjutsu and genjutsu, planning to take over the village and ruling the world," he said.

"But what are we doing here, bullying an orphan kid for being an orphan?"

"What…? When did you become my mother, Ren?" I curiously asked because even my mother didn't have this much expectation from me.

.

"Because I have watched you for more than half a decade, sometimes I really didn't understand you, like now, you're being too childish," he said.

"Hehe, because I am a child," I giggled at him, irritating him.

'Or is there really a loose screw in my head, I thought even after spending eons of time in the darkness-filled void, I didn't become crazy, or… did I become one?'

.

'Hey… hey… If I can think like this, that means I am not crazy or mentally ill. I am self-aware of my every action, or this is an indication of me having a loose screw.'

Something started to feel strange.

.

'Ahhh…. My head… it's starting to feel heavy. Why is my Byakugan activated without me doing anything?'

'It's not focused at all, just like the first day. It's started to give me a headache. Why am I seeing my blood cells moving rapidly and some random people who were eating rice balls a kilometer away at the same time?'

'Damn it, did my Byakugan just malfunction?'

.

'And why am I talking to myself?'

My hand subconsciously raised towards my nose when I felt something warm there.

I tried to focus, but the things I saw were millions of red blood cells.

"Blood, that's my blood," I muttered.

.

"Lady Hinata, what happened to you," Ren shouted in concern, but to me, he felt like he was just moving his lips in slow motion and his voice felt distorted.

"Your chakra is becoming chaotic, why are you releasing so much yin chakra," he panicked for the first time in his life.

'So this is it, huh? It's finally out of control.'

.

"Why aren't you speaking, please say something," his heart was thumping so hard as if it was about to burst out.

'Worried about me, hehe, you shouldn't have said something that triggered this reaction,' a faint smile appeared on my lips, seeing him so concerned.

"Hehe, it's nothing," as I said that, I felt a salty taste in my mouth.

.

soon I felt as if I was in the air.

"Damn it, what happened, everything was going fine," he picked me up and started to run at his full speed.

'So this is karma, huh? I made fun of that kid for being parentless, so now my parents are going to be childless.'

Even in a situation like this, only bizarre thoughts are coming to my mind. I think I am truly crazy.

.

'My two little babies, Hanabi and Arya. I haven't even started to train them, nor have I heard them calling me big sister. I haven't shown them how cool I am, and I haven't dressed them like dolls.'

'Will they be sad? No… no… I don't want them to cry… I only like them smiling brightly.'

.

'What about my mother? Even if I had protected her heart, knowing her, she would certainly get a heart attack. I knew she couldn't take it.'

'And as for father, he couldn't bear the pain of losing me and my mother at the same time, so he will be dead from inside, and it will lead him to become strict with my two little babies.'

.

'As for Neji, he will be like father and lose his emotions; his heart would be devastated.'

'And I haven't found a suitable girl for him, hehe.'

As for Haku-chan and Kimimaro, they will disappear, forever.'

.

'As for my little fox, for him, the world will lose its color. He will lose everything; his innocent and pure smile will be lost forever. His heart, which belongs to me, will beat in solitude for the rest of his life.'

'I hope he won't become like Obito, or it will be bad for him.'

.

"Hey Ren, once you said that you will follow me even in hell, so if I die, will I be seeing you in hell? Because I don't want to be alone."

"Don't say something like this; you are going to be fine," he said.

"I will follow you," he quietly muttered.

"Hehe, Ren, are you crying?" I asked him, feeling the shakiness in his voice.

"N-No, I am not."

"Yes, you are," I said.

"Please be quiet; it's not good for you," he said before everything turned dark.
