Si Sijue quickly entered inside his Mercedes sedan and drove off.
Lin Jiali quickly entered her room to get changed
"Jiali...what happened?....where did Sijue run off to?...Is everything alright?" Lin Jiali's sister, Lin Guang who had also been awoken by the commotion earlier asked her elder sister
Lin Jiali explained everything to her sister. The both of them quickly ran back into their rooms to get changed.
Meanwhile, Su Yue was carefully climbing fow the stairs. She was in pains but she didn't want to wake the servants up. If she did, her uncle and his family will be notified. Ever since she woke up from that dream, her feelings towards her uncle and his family changed coupled with the fact that before the dream, she already had her suspicions but she could not focus on that right now. She needed to give birth.
Su Yue successfully managed to climb down the stairs quietly. Beads of sweat formed on her head. She used the wall for support as she left the building. Now she needed to figure out how to pass the gate since some of the guards were still on night duty.
Su Yue walked to the gate and hid behind the big tree that was close to the gate. Two guards were standing in front of her while doing a security sweep.
Su Yue's legs were shaking due to the pain. She wanted to let out the scream she had been holding in her throat but she could not risk it at all.
"Please babies" Su Yue begged. She wasn't sure if she was really having twins but she was hopeful of it.
"Daddy will be here soon..." Su Yue said as she looked at the guards. She needed to distract them somehow and the distraction needs to buy her a lot of time so that she can pass through the gate. She looked around for a stone. She found three stones. She picked them up and aimed for the path lights that were in the garden, which was not too far from the gate. In this condition, she wasn't sure if she could hit her aim so she picked of the three stones and threw them at the path lights. one after the other.
The two stones she threw didn't meet the target so she prayed and pinned all her holes on the last one. The last one hit one of the path light which caused a crash .
The two guards turned simultaneously when they heard the sound. This gave Su Yue and opportunity to quickly move to the other side of the tree
"What was that?" one guard asked the other.
"I don't know... I'll go check it out" the other guard answered.
Their brief interaction gave Su Yue a chance to quickly slip through the gate. Su Yue walked away from the building as fast as she could. As she was heading towards main road, a car stopped in front of her.
