"Very good. I'll leave you in charge of sending them out while I take care of business here with Randa," Jake said, settling into his seat with ease. He was calmer now he knew the butler was going to handle things.
It was better this time than when those detectives took over. All they did was waste his time.
The butler stuck around until nighttime arrived before he walked to the door to leave.
Just in time, Randa walked in to see him and gave him a deeper frown.
"Congratulations on your…"
"What are you doing here?" she asked. "This is my honeymoon. And you…" she focused on a drunk Jake. "You said no work business."
"This is not work," the butler responded, trying to reduce the argument from escalating. "Sir Jake had me get you flowers and a chocolate bar."
She found the items on the table as she smiled before he walked out of the room.
