After healing Jarek, he was still unconscious, but Oshime sensed danger. As she turned, a boy in a mask appeared behind her. She summoned an ice sword, but it transformed into fire as she swung to strike him. Suddenly, she was hit with a massive debuff, like gravity weighing her down. Keiko tried to extend his Potential Field to help, but the necklace Ouiji gave them severely restricted its range.
Fin, however, acted quickly. With a precise motion, he drew a line with his finger, slicing at the attacker's mask and cracking it. The masked figure jumped back. "Remember to compress your mana and use it more efficiently instead of wasting it!" Fin called out to Keiko and Oshime.
Fin rushed in with his usual glow, but without his wind abilities. Even though the masked attacker was nimble, Fin's speed kept up, his wind blade nicking her several times. Keiko, observing, had an idea. He shot an orange marble toward Fin, enhancing his speed even more.
The masked figure tried to retreat and reach Jarek, but it was too late—several shurikens were already heading her way. In response, she threw a smoke bomb on the ground, vanishing into the mist. "I'll be back," her voice echoed as she disappeared.
Keiko and Oshime ran toward Fin, embracing him. "Good job!" Keiko said with relief. He then picked up Jarek, who was still dazed but starting to wake up. They set off quickly, heading back to safety.
Meanwhile in Heaven:
The gods were in disarray. Their voices echoed loudly in the divine hall, filled with anger at how many demons were becoming too powerful. Zeus, sitting at the head of the table, glared at Nyx, but said nothing—his fear of her darkness was palpable. It was said that if she engulfed you in it, you would never return.
Suddenly, Hypnos stood from the table. Poseidon and Hades, intrigued, watched him closely. "I'm going down to the mortal realm to meet my half-brother," he announced.
Before Zeus could stop him, he reached out. But Hypnos turned, his eyes glowing red. "If you touch me, you will fall asleep and never wake up. Not even my mother can save you this time."
A purple light surrounded Hypnos as he prepared to leave. Nyx laughed, mocking Zeus. "The strongest Olympian god? What a joke. Call mewhen you stop bickering like children." With that, she vanished into the shadows, leaving the gods in disarray.
