"Heaven's Hand Power!"
"Chidori!"
Naruto's body instantly shifted, forcibly moving in front of Sasuke. At the same time, Sasuke activated Chidori without any hesitation. He believed that Naruto possessed Six Paths-level abilities and still had various hidden cards up his sleeve. Essentially, being hit by Chidori would be fatal, but compared to Amaterasu, it was a more straightforward and direct attack, thus relatively less dangerous.
"What the heck?!" The sound of Chidori resonated. Sasuke watched as Naruto, still smiling, launched an attack. Even if he couldn't win, Sasuke wanted to leave a lasting impression on Naruto.
"Not bad," Naruto said, gripping Sasuke's wrist with one hand. Chidori was now dangerously close, yet it couldn't advance any further.
"Insane reaction speed,"
Sasuke couldn't help but comment.
Adult Sasuke was surprised. He hadn't expected Naruto to react instantly when Sasuke blurred his vision and attacked with Tenhand Power followed by Chidori. Catching Sasuke's wrist in that split second—was this guy even human? Otsutsuki weren't this ruthless!
"Your Rinnegan is decent, but unfortunately, your foundation is lacking. Without a solid base, even if your abilities are strong, you won't be able to fully unleash their power. If only your speed and strength were greater, your Rinnegan wouldn't be so easily countered," Naruto offered a fair assessment.
"You win," adult Sasuke conceded, dispersing Chidori. His expression resembled a stranded fish on the beach, long past its prime, no longer even wanting to flop around.
"Let's compare: me now and the Otsutsuki Urashiki you mentioned—who's stronger?" Naruto asked.
"You're stronger," Sasuke replied.
Naruto grinned confidently.
"But during my battle with Otsutsuki Urashiki, it seemed like he still had some power left. He didn't use all his abilities, so I can't be sure how strong he truly is."
"I didn't go all out either," Naruto teased.
"So, in my opinion, you're the stronger one."
The adult Sasuke replied.
"Is that so."
Naruto observed this Sasuke. Although this guy was also Sasuke, he felt a bit disappointed.
Perhaps it was because he was older and had been through too much, this Sasuke's competitive spirit was still too weak, far less fun than the Sasuke of this world. He lacked that high-purity pride, easily led on a merry chase.
However...
If the adult Sasuke met the young Sasuke, that would surely be a very interesting situation, wouldn't it?
What kind of reaction would he have?
I really want to see!
"Let's head back to Konohagakure, and prepare to capture Otsutsuki Urashiki. That guy is from the Otsutsuki clan. The ninja world hasn't caught an alien yet, so capturing one for research is necessary," Naruto said seriously, arms crossed.
"Uh, okay."
The adult Sasuke felt somewhat speechless. His actual goal was just to ensure Naruto survived, not to have his chakra fished away by Otsutsuki Urashiki. But reality is always surprising, and it seemed the roles of hunter and prey were beginning to switch.
However...
If he could see the high-and-mighty Otsutsuki beaten up by Naruto and then used as an experiment by Orochimaru, that would be quite a sight, wouldn't it?
Somehow, that thought made him feel much better.
...
"Tsk, he really can run."
Sasuke said disdainfully.
His battle with Isshiki was intense, but mainly it was him beating up Isshiki, who couldn't even run away. Until at one moment, that Isshiki suddenly changed, as if he had made up his mind to fight Sasuke with all his might.
And then it was a draw.
He was resurrected, but even after resurrection, he couldn't defeat the current Sasuke, and his resurrection had a time limit. If he couldn't find a new reincarnation target within three days, he would die completely.
After his resurrection, Otsutsuki Isshiki actually wanted to take control and kill Sasuke, but dealing with Sasuke, who was single-mindedly wielding the evil-glowing Lightning Release chakra, proved too difficult.
What's more terrifying is that the power of the evil glow has a strong erosive force. Upon impact, it would directly accelerate Otsutsuki Isshiki's death. Although Isshiki's physical strength was high, the erosion didn't speed up the death process much.
But he only had three days to live! Just three days!
And the single-minded dream was also terrifying. If he got slashed by that thing, he wouldn't need three days; he could ascend to heaven right there and then, shoulder to shoulder with Rikudou Sennin in the pure land.
In such a situation, did he still want to fight? After a few exchanges, he started to run with all his might, and his speed was much faster than in his wedge-two state, making it hard for Sasuke to chase.
"Forget it, it's just an accident, let's head back to Konohagakure first," Sasuke muttered to himself.
He took a few steps forward.
And then...
"Purple Lightning!"
Without warning, a burst of purple lightning exploded, striking the rock beside Sasuke fiercely. The entire rock was shattered by the purple lightning, but no further anomalies appeared.
"Nothing?"
Sasuke continued walking, occasionally blasting the rocks beside him with lightning elemental force. Although he wasn't sure if anyone was there, it was always good to be cautious.
...
"Cough cough, that bastard..."
Otsutsuki Isshiki lay on the ground coughing up blood. Sasuke's strike had actually hit him, shrunk by Sukunahikona, but he endured the pain without reverting to his normal size. Only by doing so would Sasuke continue to move forward.
In response to Otsutsuki Isshiki's drastically reduced lifespan, now only a day due to Sasuke's actions, he rages internally, 'Is this guy sick?!'
He only wanted to recruit him into the Kara organization,
Otsutsuki Isshiki Roars in Anger
Deep within, Otsutsuki Isshiki seethed.
He didn't harbor any grand intentions or elaborate schemes. His sole purpose was to secretly develop his Karma organization—plain and simple. But Sasuke, that unpredictable guy, didn't follow the script. He openly insulted Isshiki, then launched an attack without hesitation, showing no mercy whatsoever.
How much hatred do we have?
Isshiki had an inkling that Sasuke treated him like a punching bag. There wasn't any complex reason behind it; Sasuke just felt that Isshiki wasn't a good person and decided to throw a few punches.
"Is this guy insane?!"
Isshiki cursed inwardly. He dared not voice his thoughts aloud—speaking might give away his position, and if Sasuke heard him, it would be another round of pursuit. That would be excruciatingly painful, especially for an immortal like him.
Soon, Sasuke moved farther away, and Isshiki lost all sense of his presence. However, given Sasuke's previous sneak attack, Isshiki remained in his miniature form, hidden.
Who knew if Sasuke was trying to deceive him or launch a surprise attack on this millennia-old man!
