Emily knew Jake saw her and as soon as their eyes met, she dashed out to the streets.
Jake hurried and followed her. He didn't understand what she was doing at that moment, or why she didn't stop to calm down.
He checked around but saw no traces of her. Damn it, did she disappear into thin air?
Kira followed behind as Jake went out. After a while, Jake knew Emily had ran off. Kira on the other hand, she was still with him.
"Hey, I should leave now--" Kira began to say but was cut off by Jake.
"No. You stay, come with me right now."
"I promise you, I was set up." Kira repeated like she had been saying for a while now.
Jake was tired of her stalling. "Hey, listen to me. You can't be here at the same time when I am. I mean, there's gotta be some explanation for all of this."
