Monday morning came and Emily went to work feeling her very best. She would be meeting the woman her boss had called 'evil'.
"Okay, miss Linda. Here we go." Emily said to herself.
"Hello, are you here for the board meeting?" A fair lady walked up to Emily to ask. "You're Emily Tinsel, right?"
Emily nodded, but she only heard she would be meeting with the board members, not representing the company!
"Mrs. Pattel can't make it early, so you fill in for her." The lady said with a smile.
Emily wondered why she wouldn't know about such an urgent change of plan when she was Mrs. Pattel's P.A, but she only nodded.
She stepped in and saw a wide rectangular table with men and women in suit. Thank goodness she had dressed nicely.
Just at the center of the table was a woman skinny and tall with a frightening face. She had a frown on her face and it made Emily's heart skip a bit, worried with fear of even daring to approach her.
