There was a knock on the door and Verona answered.
May stepped inside. She seemed surprised seeing Jake and Verona together. "Oh, I wanted to say hi to my brother. What are you doing here, Ve--Emily?"
She was about to say Verona, Jake noticed. But why? If she knew who she really was, why pretend?
"Yes she's with me." Jake said. "We're going to travel soon, just the two of us." He announced.
May's eyes opened in shock. "Travel? To where?"
Even Verona seemed shocked a little. But she smiled proudly. "Because he loves me. He remembers me now, right Jake?"
Jake nodded. He noticed his sister was not happy. "Sis, I notice you're not too happy. I can remember how wrong you use to treat Emily. Let's hope it will come to an end now, huh?"
May frowned and Verona smiled. "Y-yes. No, I'm happy. Good to hear."
"Good to hear. And by the way, I want to see someone. I'll be inviting her over. And you're going to call her." He turned to Verona.
