The woman before Jake seemed pretty certain with what she was saying. She...she was certainly familiar. But it must be because she was Verona.
What other option could be there?? Could his family be lying to him?

"You're annoying. Get out of here now." The one he knew as 'Emily' was saying.
"Hey, Honnie Bun," Jake was staring at what was inscribed on her top.
Emily shifted back feeling a little awkward he was staring at her that close. For a brief while, her heart fluttered.
"What are you looking at?" She demanded. Jake glared at her with a heavy gaze. Who knows what he was thinking, Emily wondered.
"The card, where did you get it from?" He asked, his voice calm and gently as he spoke.
Emily frowned. "You gave it to me! Jake, how dare you leave me in this goddamn position! You need to remember me."
He turned to Verona. "She's lying, right?"
