A strike of pain shot through Arioch's head. He whimpered as he woke up with his knees burning, tangled in chains, and every time he tried to move, but the liquid he was knee-deep in burned his skin. Footsteps could be heard, making their way towards Arioch, and the scent of dry vetiver, smokey myrrh, and leathery Sandalwood. Arioch's eyes widened. He tried to break out from the chains, but the only thing that could be heard was the rattle of chains. His head began to swim, and he leaned his head down.
"Don't even try to struggle" Arjun walked up to his brother, kneeling in a tub of holy water. "You are not escaping this" he exhaled, lighting a candle, the shadow carved the side of his face.
"Please, Arjun, don't do this," Arioch exhaled softly. "she is unstable, do what you want to me but don't release her," he pleaded on his knees, looking up at him.
