CECILE
"How are you feeling now, Cecile?"
"Wha—"
Tristan's voice pulled me out of the haze, and I gradually opened my eyes, feeling a sense of familiarity wash over me.
I blinked repeatedly, attempting to clear away the enveloping fog that had come down on me, yet my efforts proved futile.
Everything still felt hazy and fuzzy.
My head hurt, and I felt like I hadn't slept in days.
I unintentionally flinched when a hand suddenly touched my arm, despite my best efforts to remain still.
"How... how long was I out?" I mumbled as I took in my surroundings.
I was lying on a bed with white sheets.
There was also a soft light coming from the window, but it seemed dimmer than I remembered.
I felt the bed shift beside me as Tristan sat down on the bed next to me.
