"Three!" He grinned mischievously. "So hurry up and think fast because I don't have forever. We have a lot to do together while waiting it out."
Think! Think! Why could this place be special to Tristan? Was it significant to his family history, perhaps?
But none came to mind immediately, except possibly something related to his past.
Did he plan to marry me someday after all?
That certainly wasn't written on his face last night, nor did he say anything about it today. Maybe I imagined it—or read way too much into it.
