They sat in the garden of the park house. If there's one thing known about hybrids, it's their love for nature. The four of them sat on a large carpet. They formed a small circle as they conversed.
"Monica, we are dead serious. We searched for you everywhere," Bridgette said, her eyes welling up.
"I left," Monica replied simply, her face devoid of expression.
"That is painfully obvious!" Athena finally snapped.
"Athena," Antipas attempted to calm her. Antipas himself was already in tears.
"Antipas, no need to cry," Monica's voice wavered slightly. The little Antipas still held a soft spot in Monica's heart.
"You abandoned your brother, Monica! You left Antipas devastated and confused! He lives by false humor and jest, but he's never been truly happy since you left him! Your little brother," Bridgette's voice cracked, anger seeping through.
