"It is almost eight centuries now." Monica whispered.
"Eight centuries and five decades, Monica." Antipas sobbed out, clenching tightly to the pendant as he pushed it closer against his chest, still kneeling on the floor of his room.
"He broke the bond, Monica. He broke our bond, the Elders' special bond." Antipas lugubriously said, morose clear in his hunched posture.
"Stand up Anti, I am craving shortcakes, and who would make it better than a short hybrid?" Monica dryly said, petting Antipas' shoulder-length hair to tame the few strands that managed to move out of place.
"You are so insensitive!" Antipas sobbed out, a pout on his tear-stained face.
"You look like a white poop after bellowing," Monica said, a frown on her lips.
"I hate you!" Antipas whined, standing on his feet to face his sister with his arms crossed across his chest.
