Can I help?
"My flight was rescheduled, mum." Xavier told him mum.
He was in his hotel room, in New York City. He had just landed a few minutes ago, and was on the bed of a less popular hotel.
His aim was to surprise his family. He missed them so bad, and badly wanted to hug them tightly.
Especially his dad.
"It feels so good to be back here." Xavier, told his personal assistant, as they much on the pizza on their table.
"Extremely good, Sir." His personal assistant, James replied with his mouth full of pizza.
"Maybe I'd explore the city later this evening." Xavier thought.
"Isn't that going to ruin the surprise for your family? They might run into you." James tried to see reasons with his boss.
Xavier shook his head sideways. "I'd go to the least place I'd ever run into my family. Maybe, buy a few of my favorite chocolate bars."
He smiled, reminiscing on how him and his twin always went to get those chocolate bars. They were so obsessed with it. He couldn't believe he missed Xander, So much and couldn't wait to see him.
"Get my car ready." Xavier said to James, who was trying to swallow a large piece of pizza.
Now, Xavier was driving to the grocery store. He smiled at all those familiar roads.
It felt good coming back to where you grew up. So many memories.
He packed his bmw in one of the parking spaces and came out of the car.
He couldn't miss how girls gasped at him as he walked on. He only smiled at them.
He picked out a few candy bars, ice cream for James, and a few packs of condoms.
Satisfied with what he got, he went over to the counter to pay for his items.
The line was way too long, that he began to wish he sent James, instead.
Just two more people before him.
His eyes widened when he saw the girl in front of him, with a lot of items in her cart.
Now, he was starting to regret why he never sent James.
A big sigh of relief escaped his mouth when it got to his turn.
"Thank you for shopping with us." The store attendant smiled widely at Xavier. He returned her smile with a small salute before he left.
When he got outside, he made to go over to his car, when he spotted the same girl he met at the counter.
She was struggling with too many items. A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he watched her. For some weird reasons, he found it cute.
He moved further, with an attempt to help the poor girl out of her current situation.
"Can I help?" Xavier offered. He was standing behind her.
She turned to stare at him with wide, beautiful eyes. "What the fuck!" She exclaimed almost loudly.
Xavier eyebrows rose at her outburst. He was utterly confused, but waved it off almost immediately.
"Excuse you?" He asked with a soft chuckle.
He found this girl standing in front of him, very beautiful. He loved how rounded her lips were and how her beautiful eyes suited her.
But she looked like she was having a heart attack. He wondered why.
Xavier looked down at her items once more. There were so many bags. He felt for her, and wanted to help.
"I can drive you back home, if you wish." He said and began picking up her items, and over to his car.
Kayla stopped him immediately. "I'll get a taxi." She forced a smile on her face.
Xavier felt she was uncomfortable and did not push further. He was clearly meeting this girl for the first time, so every reaction he got from her was valid.
He smiled at her, a smile that reached his eyes. "Your wish is my command, my lady." He dropped tear items back where he picked them from, and chuckled. This time, she joined him.
As he walked to his car, he could feel her eyes boring holes into his back.
He got into his car, looked at her one more time, before speeding away.
When he got to his hotel room, he found out that the ice cream he had gotten for James had melted. He groaned in frustration.
"James would understand, he always do." Xavier said and placed the ice cream on the nightstand. He removed the pack of condom he bought and threw it in the drawer.
"The car is ready, sir." James enters the room after knocking.
"You know what James, we'll go home tomorrow. Right now, what I want now is a girl to warm this bed." He chuckled mischievously. " A girl as beautiful as the one I met at the store today. She had such a beautiful smile." He said with a smile lingering on his lips.
Weird how he couldn't stop thinking of that girl. He really wished he had gotten her number.
James listened to his boss rap about the girl.
"And oh James, I got you ice cream. Sorry it's melted." Xavier looked at him with a sad face.
James smiled gratefully at his boss. "Thank you. I prefer it melted."
Xavier knew his assistant was lying, but he decided to keep shut about it.
He's known James for so long, and how understanding he loved to act. He never said no to his boss. Rather he displeased himself every time, just to please his boss.
"I'll get you a girl as always. Can I get you some condoms at the store?" James was all ready to head to the store immediately.
"No, I already got those. Just get me down from those bitches!"
James shuddered at Xavier's words, but kept a completely straight face.
"Okay sir."
All through the drive to the club, James thought about Lisa. He was fond of her, and how much she loved Xavier. He wished Xavier would see Lisa's love for him.
He cared so much about his boss, and seeing him happy was his number one priority.
