POV SAND
When i left corey to his home,i got an emergency call and i have to leave the town for my next mission it was about some thralls apearing in a desert area and uproar in many places it was difficult and i have an idea as to why there's an uproar in other worldly things.it was difficult to deal with these things. I am missing corey for some reason but mission is more important then anything else. It takes me 6 month to wrap everything and leave this city
I was sitting in aeroplane, looking outside from the window,today weather is beautiful. . I was missing corey he was soo innocent and beautiful but also a great threat anything can be happen but i have many things to do before going to him. Last time when i meet him there was only innocence and cuteness and i am happy and nervous to meet him again and my next mission is to help him control his powers and make him useful.
I decided to first meet corey and then report phoenix so i headed towards corey apartment but when i reached there i found no one "maybe he changed his mind and go to his house" with that thought i decided to visit his house where his family lives but i got worried when i see broken doors pieces of glass shattered the more i walk in the house the more i get worried "somebody tresspas his house,what happened when i was gone ,why there's nobody what if..." I don't want to think beyond that but i am woried if he unlocked his powers somehow then it will be bad i drive to my headquarter
"Where is mateo" i asked from my colleagues
"He is in a meeting" i barged into meeting room i don't want to waste even a single minute. I don't want to even think if they eliminate corey
"Mateo what you did with corey" i commanded in a loud and clear voice i didn't see who was sitting there
"What the hell sand " he sounded angry he excused from his meeting and drag me to his office
"What do you mean by i did something to corey" he asked adjusting his glases
"I went to corey's home but i found their house open,shattered windows and everything was out of place" i was shouting at him i feel pain in my body i feel like someone was grabbing my heart or someone was stabbing my heart
"What do you mean by this didn't you kept eye on that boy" he said shock was clear on his face
"What do you mean by this"
"Didn't you say you will protect him" i remember when i said him i will take care of that boy
"I was gone on the mission" i punched the wall out of frustration
"You didn't give boy's information to us_ he said "now tell me what should we do if he was in the hands of evil" now mateo was also angry and worried
"I will find him" i said and stormed out of his office"what should i do, where to find him,we don't even have idea of what his powersare and what he is capable of and also where to find him now" i drive to his hoise and asked neighbourhood of they know where the family go but in return i only came to know that there was some people tresspased their house the police do some investigation but they can't find any lead so the case was closed now so i drived to police station and demand case file from them. It was a little difficult but i have to do every possible thing to make sure corey is fine. There is not enough information in the file i got more frustrated and drive away to get my mind clear
The whole night i drive car here and there just to clear my mind, i didn't have any idea as to where i am the area is very silent the only sound i can hear is of chameleon. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath my mind is still jumbled up with many thoughts which i don't want to think. I am scared to think what if's...
I was now feeling tired so i decided to go back to my apartment when i heard a scream coming from the town i ran toward the area but i got stunned as to what was waiting for me there, my mind went blank i am seeong a man sitting on the top of dead bodied eating flesh and drinking blood there was a massacre as if there was a war the man sitting on the dead bodies was eating them and laughing like a maniac i was standing still there a shiver run down through my spine when the man looked in my eyes he come closer to me in the blink of the eye i was terrified i never encounter such things in my life. Everything is like a nightmare "it is a dream,it is a dream,it is a dream" i started chanted in my mind. I closed my eyes i don't want to admit tear was starting to trickle from my eyes i know who this monster is but i don't want to admit it my whole body was trembling with fear but i was also heart broken and feeling guilty the death of the whole town is on my shoulder i want to scream the one i want to see soo badly in the past 6 months is gone and the one standing infront of me is only a monster . I took a deep breath and again open my eyes. He was examining me circling around me with a smirk on his face
"C..co....cor...corey" i was stuttering i feel like my whole body stops working i want to wake up from this nightmare but these eyes these eyes belongs to no other then corey. He was now taller then me and having muscles and a strong body he was grown soo much in these past months but now his innocence his everything is gone and standing infront of me is a monster
He starts sniffing me and laughing again with a piece of human flesh in his hand,the blood was dripping from his mouth and again he laughed loudly
"So you are the one corey was thinking daily" he laughed again
What is he saying is he not corey , i felt a relief he is not my corey but how come he got eyes of corey his voice his voice is also of corey
"Where is corey" i asked in a trembling voice if i didn't see the terrified things in my life i will died or traumatised from all this
He again laughed and said "do you want to meet him"
I noded and he again laughed" but i don't want you to meet him"
"Wh ..why" something in my guts telling me that everything that's happening is not good
He sniffed again" i can smell fairies in you" he said and lifted me up from me neck, my wind pipe was cut off i am hardly able to breath the last words i hear from blacling out was that "i can not believe rose can do such thing"
