Yeonjun was so disheartened, disappointed in himself. Why didn't he meet him earlier? Why couldn't he be there for him earlier? He would've killed that guy till now. The guy who makes his precious person cry. The guy who makes him feel like dying. He must encounter that guy now. He must take revenge. If he didn't bury him with his own hand, he wouldn't get a proper sleep. He clenched his fist in anger, taking an oath to find that guy and make him pay for his sin.

Soobin was still sobbing in his arms. Yeonjun held him tightly, making him lean on him.

"Are you hungry?" Yeonjun asked.

"Hm?" Soobin replied in tiny. He didn't raise his head as Yeonjun's shoulder was the most lenient place to him for the time.

"Aren't you hungry? You haven't eaten anything after lunch." Yeonjun repeated. As he couldn't find what he should say to console him, he remained silent about that matter. Yeonjun let Soobin cry all he wanted, to lighten his sorrows. He glanced at Soobin and saw tears were falling from his eyes as he was completely silent. He touched Soobin's cheek and wiped his tears very gently. As Soobin had a fever, his temperature was getting higher.

"I think I am." Soobin replied slowly while Yeonjun tried to smile but failed.

Yeonjun unpacked the food which he bought and kept on the table. He pulled a chair for Soobin and made him sit on it. He placed a bowl and chopsticks in front of him and then he took his seat.

"Do you like spicy food?" Yeonjun asked.

"Oh? I can't eat spicy food too much though I feel like eating sometimes." Soobin replied. He looked at the food and was surprised. When did he buy all of them? Were they really for the two of them? Aren't they a bit too much? Soobin wondered.

"I didn't know what you'd like to eat. So, I bought tteokbokki, ramyeon, soup dumplings and some side dishes. Except for the soup dumplings, all of them are spicy. If you don't like them, I'll go buy something else." Yeonjun grinned.

"Oh! There's no need! I feel like eating something spicy now." Soobin smiled and took a piece of tteok from the foiled bowl.

"Do you want some rice? I have some instant rice in the freezer. I'll go heat them up." Yeonjun asked. He didn't start eating as he was focused on feeding Soobin.

"Just start eating! There's so much food! I don't think we need more!" Soobin said with a forceful tone.

"Okay okay." Yeonjun bit his tongue as he understood he was overdoing it and he should let Soobin eat peacefully. Soobin was surprised when he noticed they ate nearly all of the food. As the dishes were hot and spicy, he was sweating while eating. He was breathing a bit heavily as his tongue felt like burning from the spiciness. Noticing him, Yeonjun stood up and brought some juice and beer cans from the freezer.

"Have some if you can't handle it." Soobin looked very adorable and Yeonjun couldn't help but chuckle.

Soobin took a beer can and tried to open it while Yeonjun was taking his seat. He took the can from Soobin and opened it for him. While giving it to him, he began,

"Soobin-ah!"

"Hm?" Soobin replied, taking the beer can from Yeonjun's hand, glaring at him curiously.

"Don't say it like that." Yeonjun replied, with a melancholic face.

"What?" Soobin didn't have any idea what Yeonjun was talking about.

"What you said earlier, don't say it so easily." Yeonjun has a serious look all over his face. Soobin chugged down some beer and put it on the table. He remembered and understood what Yeonjun was referring to. He remained silent, avoiding his gaze.

"You know, when I saw you in the bathtub, my soul nearly left me. I was so afraid, afraid that I might've lost you. The thought of losing you was so scary that I could never forgive myself if I couldn't save you back then. I need you. I really need you. So, please don't talk about dying anymore.

Life…Is a very valuable thing, you know. You have to fight for yourself. Nobody can win that fight for you. God blessed you with this life and you must value it. Not for any other people, but for your own. I may not understand how you feel or what your position is, I can still be there in the same field in this war, called life. The world is a cruel place. Most of the people here are toxic. But we must live through the toxicity. We must fight hard to defeat them to make our lives easy and comfortable." Yeonjun sighed. He was staring at Soobin who was clanging his chopsticks against the bowl gently.

Soobin couldn't reply as he had nothing to say. He glanced at Yeonjun and noticed he was staring at him. He felt embarrassed and guilty all of a sudden.

"Ah! I was being a bit over-dramatic! Have more meat!" Saying that Yeonjun put some roasted meat on Soobin's bowl.

"I'm full! And I think my fever also subsided." Soobin rubbed his forehead to wipe his sweat and said smilingly. He wanted to make Yeonjun understand that he got the message from Yeonjun.

"Really? Lemme check." Yeonjun came closer to Soobin and put his hand on his forehead to check his temperature.

"Ah! You're right! You're so sweaty as well! Hahaha! The spicy food was worth it then!" Yeonjun grinned and sat properly. He also took a sip from another can. After finished eating, Yeonjun gave the prescribed medicines to Soobin.

While Soobin was taking them, sitting on the bed, Yeonjun sat beside him.

"Can I look at your phone?" Yeonjun asked.

"Huh? Sure! Go ahead!" Soobin replied and handed his phone to Yeonjun. At first, Yeonjun took a selfie with the owner of the phone and started browsing his gallery.

"Why you don't have many photos?" Yeonjun asked.

"Um…I never feel like taking photos. All of them were captured by my classmates." Soobin replied.

"Why? You have such a photogenic face!" Yeonjun said, excitedly.

"Ah! No! That's not true!" Soobin was shy when he heard compliments about himself.

"Who is this boy?" Yeonjun pointed at a boy in a picture, standing right next to him.

"He's Hueningkai, my underclassmate." Soobin replied.

"And this?" Yeonjun asked again, as he was scrolling his gallery and seeing the different faces, he wanted to know though he had some motives behind it.

"Who is this?" He pointed at a guy in a group picture.

"He….is that… teacher." Soobin replied with disappointment. He remembered deleting that guy's picture, but he must've missed this one. He didn't want Yeonjun to see or know that guy.

"Ah!" Yeonjun was getting angry. So this was the guy Soobin had been suffering for all along? Yeonjun glared at the guy as if he'd go inside the picture and give him a good beating right there. At that time, he heard Soobin yawning. He locked the phone and turned to Soobin.

"You're sleepy? Then go to sleep." He stood up and said smilingly.

"Umh" Soobin nodded. Yeonjun made Soobin lay down and covered him with the blanket just like a mother.

"Goodnight." Yeonjun wanted to give a peck on those cute cheeks, but he resisted and turned off the light.

"Where would you sleep?" Soobin asked.

"Close your eyes or else the sleepiness will go away. And you don't have to worry about me. I have several more rooms." Yeonjun chuckled and brushed his hand on Soobin's eyes very coyly to make him close his eyes. Soobin smirked and closed his eyes. He didn't notice Yeonjun still had his phone. Yeonjun waited for him to fall asleep. Then, he slowly walked away and went to his computer room.

Now that Yeonjun saw the man's face, he remembered where he had seen him before. The man had been roaming around Soobin's townhome, asking where he could find Soobin. Yeonjun had also spotted him in the park while buying food for himself and Soobin. The man had been purchasing a considerable amount of food and beverages, suggesting he wasn't alone. Who was with him? Where could Yeonjun find him? Desperate for clues, Yeonjun transferred the picture to his own phone and searched for the school where Soobin used to study. He looked for information about the teachers, but the man's data had been removed from the list. Yeonjun sighed and unlocked Soobin's phone again, hoping to find some clue.

While browsing through Soobin's email, he discovered some threatening mails in the spam folder. Yeonjun quickly opened the emails and was shocked to find a video attached to one of the mails. The video showed Soobin, with the man's face clearly visible as he attempted to molest the unconscious Soobin. Tears filled Yeonjun's eyes as he gritted his teeth and clenched his fists. Rage, anguish and despair filled him up, determined to destroy the man as soon as possible.
