"WHAAAAAT!" Soobin screamed as he got a huge shock by hearing Yeonjun.
"Chill! It's not what you think it is! I'll tell you everything later. But, let's concentrate on work for now, hm? You know, we shouldn't discuss our private lives when it's still business hour, right?" Yeonjun smiled sweetly which washed every negative thoughts away from Soobin's head. He didn't notice, but his face was completely red seeing the smile.
"No wonder you're such a great business man!" Soobin tried to hide whatever he was feeling. Yeonjun smirked and left to deal with the customers.
What was the feeling? His chest felt so heavy right now. He felt like that smile should only belong to him. He just wanted to touch his face. He never felt such attraction towards others so is it what people call love? Soobin couldn't understand. He sighed and went back to his work.

"Don't you think they look perfect together?" Yeonjun pointed at Beomgyu and Taehyun who were still discussing their important matters with each other. Though it was over the time to close the bakery, they let them stay. Soobin gave some pastry to Yeonjun as he helped him today. And Yeonjun begged him to eat it together. So, Soobin had no choice but to sit with him and have some.
"Um. Maybe." Soobin put a spoonful in his mouth and said.
"Hahaha! I love how you're always being honest. Actually, he and I aren't a thing. I just got along with his idea because I wanted to help him. That dumb fella doesn't know how he should let his feelings out. I knew it'd work for them." Yeonjun grinned while looking at them. Soobin believed everything he said although he didn't know how Yeonjun sugarcoated the whole story. He did want to help Beomgyu, but it's not true that he had no ulterior motives behind it.
"Then, why did you try to hide when you saw him?" Soobin asked confusedly.
"Uh!... About that….I provoked him." Yeonjun bit his lips as he found it funny and thrilling.
"I said, I'm taking his baby for a while and he got really angry. I could tell, you know! *I'm gonna kill you* he had that look all over his face. Hahaha! You should've seen that face of him!" Yeonjun continued laughing. He didn't notice how Soobin was staring at him. It seemed like he was mesmerized by the beauty of his face and heart. Soobin couldn't concentrate on what Yeonjun was talking about. He kept gazing at him while fidgeting his fingers beneath the table.
"Do you have classes tomorrow?" Yeonjun asked suddenly. Although Soobin was looking at him, he didn't listen to the question.
"Soobin?" Yeonjun called his name softly while getting closer.
"Ah! Huh?" Soobin snapped out and looked at the other side.
"Sorry, I-I was thinking about s-something." He said with a guilty face.
"I asked if you have classes tomorrow." Yeonjun repeated his question. He had his smile on him which was difficult to vanish.
"No! I don't have any classes anymore. After the exam, I'll finally graduate." Soobin said and tried to smile, but he didn't know why he was feeling awkward all of a sudden.
"Ah! That's a relief then! Won't you take part in the national college entrance exam?" Yeonjun was trying to casually talk with Soobin.
"I told you before I won't go to college. I'll start working as a full timer after I'm done with the exam." Soobin replied. He had no expression on his face so Yeonjun couldn't understand what Soobin was thinking.
"S-Soobin!" Suddenly Yeonjun felt nervous and he was hesitating if he should tell what he was thinking about or not.
"Hm?" Soobin was looking at Beomgyu and Taehyun and when he heard his name, he turned back to Yeonjun with a curious face.
"Um…you know…I…." Yeonjun gulped, he was totally stuttering out of nervousness. As a result, Soobin looked at him more curiously.
"Do….you….think we can…be more than….uh…f-friends?" Yeonjun finally asked and he felt so relieved that he could let his words out of his mouth. Soobin understood what Yeonjun was trying to say. Though he felt relieved that Yeonjun didn't get over him yet, he couldn't say anything and remained silent. Yeonjun was looking at him with his restless eyes.
"I…. don't know. I want to stay as friends for now. Won't it be okay?" Soobin tried hard to deny his feelings. He felt as if someone clenched his heart from inside and tied his mouth from expressing his feelings.
"I-It's fine! I....I'm sorry for bringing it up again. Actually, I...wanted you to know that I haven't given up on you yet. And my feelings for you didn't change either. I'm not gonna stop chasing you until you push me away from your heart. I know you're confused and I hope you can figure out everything as soon as you can. Remember, I just…. want….I just wanna belong to you." Yeonjun said everything confidently even though his heart was pounding at the top speed and he noticed he was covered with sweat beneath the air conditioning. In reply, Soobin took the glass of water and chugged it down. He couldn't understand what he should do or say.
"Uh….I have some tasks to do in the kitchen. So…. enjoy your desert." Soobin stood up as he was feeling uncomfortable. Yeonjun understood Soobin rejected him once again. He smiled at Soobin even though he felt heartbroken. When he left, Yeonjun sighed and covered his face with his palms.
"I fucked up again!" He didn't know if he should follow Soobin or just sit back. Didn't Soobin leave to avoid him? What if he never wants to see him again? What'd he do? Because he can't control his emotions and blurt out his feelings, he might lose Soobin forever. After hesitating for a while, Yeonjun finally went to the kitchen where Soobin was washing the dishes.
"Um-hm! Umm…S-Soobin!" Yeonjun cleared his throat with a cough and called though he wasn't sure if he should really talk with him or wish him a goodbye for now.
"Hm?" Soobin closed the tap and put the plate which he was washing aside. He turned around, but it was clear that he was thinking something very deeply.
"I'm sorry for ruining the mood earlier. I shouldn't have said those things. You must be feeling uncomfortable, right? But, what can I do? I'm a human as well. A human who is head over heels for you. I don't know if I can get over you, but as long as you won't give me a sign that you have a slight chance to like me back, I won't say a thing about it. Because, I still wanna be friends with you.
But, one thing I want you to know…that is…even if the world turns against you, I'd still be there for you. My heart will always be open for you. So.... please don't erase me from your heart or head even if you think of me as a friend. I-I have to go now and I'll be busy for the time being. Feel free to call me if you get in any kind of trouble. Please take care of yourself." Yeonjun finished his lines though he didn't know what he was saying anymore. Soobin wanted to stop him at first, but nothing came out from his mouth. He felt like something kept interrupting whenever he tried to express his feelings. He kept looking at Yeonjun who was getting further and further away.
