Chapter 12 - Chapter 12

"Uh! I-I m-mean, w-what a c-coincidence! Hahaha! H-how are you?" Yeonjun faltered all of a sudden. He was nervous for no reason in front of the cute boy.

"Uh! Do.…I know you?" Soobin tried to remember who the boy was and when he couldn't recall about him, he directly asked though it was a little awkward for him.

"Huh?" Yeonjun was shocked because he had been searching for the boy since he met him and he couldn't even imagine that Soobin would forget about him.

"You know me! That time! We met! At the field! In the countryside! Don't you remember?" Yeonjun was nearly shouting because he got hyped up when he discovered that he wasn't remembered by the boy he had been looking forward to meeting.

"Hm?" Soobin tilted his head confusedly. Yeonjun was getting frustrated because he was trying his best to make Soobin remember who he was but it seemed like he failed again.

"Ooh! BANANA! You remember?" Yeonjun was looking at him with his eyes full of expectations. He hoped it'd work this time.

"Aah! That farmer Ajusshi!" Soobin finally remembered who the boy was but he still made Yeonjun unhappy and shocked again.

[Note: Ajusshi means old man in Korean]

"Hey! That's rude of you, you know? Um….what I mean is…. I'm just 23 and you can't call someone a year older than you Ajusshi!" Yeonjun was smiling but it was clear that he was quite disappointed and angry.

"Ah! Really? I apologize. Then, thanks for coming to our bakery! Would you like to order something?" Soobin smiled and asked gently.

"Hehe! I came here to order. But I want to visit around here, can you show me around?" Yeonjun giggled.

"Soobin-ah! Did you put something in the oven? Go check them!" A girl came towards Soobin while glaring at Yeonjun as if she was gonna kill him. Soobin did put some muffins inside the oven but they need more time to be baked completely. The girl was looking at them for quite a while and when she couldn't stand anymore, she came forward to restrain them from talking.

"Oh! Arin Noona! When did you come back? Didn't you say you'd be late?" Soobin smiled at her and his face started to shine all of a sudden. Yeonjun looked at him and suddenly he felt like a third wheel. His heart started aching a little by seeing the scenery.

"I just came. Now, go! I'll handle it here!" She was smiling at Soobin but when she looked at Yeonjun, her smile vanished and irritation came all over her face as if Yeonjun did something very mean to her. Soobin left after he nodded gently to Arin, without looking at Yeonjun. Yeonjun felt like an abandoned pup and the situation became a little awkward since Arin was chewing Yeonjun alive by glaring at him.

"So….his name is Soobin, right?" Yeonjun tried to smile but seeing the dark aura around her, he got afraid.

"Why do you care?" Arin said in a harsh voice.

"Um….I mean, he is cute, isn't he?" Yeonjun gulped. He wanted to leave as soon as possible. But he couldn't because he wanted to know about the boy and there was no other way he would know about him except for that cold person in front of him.

"So? What can I do? I know my boyfriend is cute! So, don't harass him. And get lost if you don't want to order something." Arin threw a red eye and Yeonjun got really afraid as well as disappointed.

"Man! I thought your world was gonna end in the washroom? Do you have constipation?" Wooyoung came to rescue Yeonjun though he didn't know what was going on there.

"Why are you here?" Yeonjun looked at Wooyoung. He was relieved by seeing him for the first time in a while. Wooyoung noticed how nervous Yeonjun was looking. So, he thought Yeonjun was trying to flirt with the girl and he meddled in.

"You're taking forever! So, I thought I should come and check if you really pass away while shitting!" Wooyoung raised his voice and he tried to tease Yeonjun a little but when he saw the girl was trying to murder them with her eyes, he also got afraid.

"Didn't you come to order that cake? Are they out of it already?" Wooyoung asked and looked at Arin with a guilty face.

"Sir! What do you want? I'm sorry, we're short on man today so I couldn't provide you with the best service." When Arin heard about business, she quickly got back to her business self and smiled just like a mean businessman. She even bowed to apologize.

"Ah! We just had some of your…..ah! What was the name? Choco…. chocolate….dark….WHAT?" Wooyoung couldn't remember the pastry's name so he got mad at himself.

"Ah! You guys are talking about *Dark Chocolate Kiss*? We still have them! I'll go and send them to your table. Please wait for a moment!" Arin bowed again and went inside.

"Darling! You just saved my life!" Yeonjun felt so relieved when the girl left and both of them were going back to their seats.

"Right! I knew you'd get yourself in trouble if you keep flirting around!" Wooyoung started laughing all of a sudden. He also felt proud by helping his friend out though he got the wrong idea about that girl.

"Hey! I wasn't flirting around!" Yeonjun tried to assure his friend.

"Right! Right! You didn't! Then why was she so angry?" Wooyoung kept laughing and finally they took their seats back.

"AISH! KEEP LAUGHING, YA? You know it too well that I'm not interested in girls!" Yeonjun shouted at first and then mumbled.

"But that doesn't mean you don't flirt with girls!" Wooyoung said and glared at Yeonjun.

"I upset her by saying that her boyfriend was cute." Yeonjun blabbered.

"What! Bwahahaha!" Wooyoung started laughing loudly again.

"Hey! Wanna taste death?" Yeonjun got angry because his friend kept laughing on his face. He sighed because he was both sad and frustrated. He never expected the boy to have a girlfriend.

"Argh! I should've guessed that! I was searching for him foolishly. He is such a cutie so he must be already taken!" Yeonjun mumbled again.

"What? You have taken a liking to someone?" Wooyoung stopped laughing and got curious.

"Don't even ask!" Yeonjun rolled his eyes and said. He was feeling angry with himself.

"Spill the tea!" Wooyoung held the cup of his drinks and bent towards Yeonjun with his curious face. Yeonjun didn't want to tell the story to Wooyoung because he knew he'd make fun of him if he said that. Moreover, he wanted to light up his chest by sharing. So, he was hesitating if he should say it or not. After a while, fighting with himself in his mind, he ended up blurting out what was in his mind though he was sugarcoating the whole story quite a lot.

Soobin was wondering where he saw the guy. He was waiting for the cupcakes to be done. He pressured his brain to remember the guy. Though he said he remembered him earlier, he wasn't sure if he recognized the person right. After a while, he remembered who the man was. He gasped and mumbled,

"Huh! It's that banana guy! No wonder he was mad when I called him Ajusshi!"
