Chapter 47 – Lux
LUX marked Franco Rodriguez as his first enemy for now. That's what's been on his mind since the morning but it disappeared when he fell asleep. It returned when he saw Heart poking at her phone before they left.
Enrico was gone because he was taking Heart to her new home. Even if he returned to the condo, the young lady was no longer there. They were heading to the townhouse now, with her luggage always ready. But before that, he needed to make a quick stop at the office to check on some important documents.
He parked his car in the basement and couldn't help but laugh when Heart quickly ducked to hide.
"Wrong, baby. You shouldn't be hiding there. You should be in my pants."
"Sssh!" She scolded him, but he couldn't help but laugh.
"No gossip will get out, no matter what they see. I'll lock down the entire building if it happens. Don't be afraid."
