Heart felt embarrassed when a woman got into the back of their car without even bothering to be asked by Lux to open the door for her. Even though it wasn't said, the young lady knew who had entered. It was likely Elisa, Lux's mother.
He also got into the driver's side in silence. She saw Lux's mother looking at her through the mirror.
"Diana?" Elisa asked, looking at Heart.
"She's not Diana," Lux replied gruffly to his mother, leaving her speechless.
"Sorry. I thought you were Diana."
"I'm just taking you to Katy. That's all I can do for you. You can't take her home unless you promise that your husband will not hurt her," Lux talked beside Heart.
"Alfonso won't harm her, Lux," Elisa replied gently to his son.
