When Peter was stocked on the mud the Mud Digger suddenly showed up below him and rammed him to the air. Allowing him to become airborne and unable to do anything.
"Ow! Ow! Ow! I'm in the middle of the air?! How come?!" He yelled while figuring out how to scape from this situation.
-"Peter! "
-"P... Peter! "
His teammates saw the whole thing but couldn't do anything to save him.
"It's trying to kill me with fall damage?!" He's still couldn't move while on midair.
But it's given how the ramming attack didn't deal much damage to him it's still deadly if he'll fall to the ground.
"Chloe! Shoot me with your hair!" Peter shouted. Perhaps he's planning something to get away from being airborne.
"O... Okay! Porcupine's Hunting Mechanism: Javelin Hair!" She strikes Peter with her hybrid technique.
Peter waits for the right timing to catch the spikey hair that Chloe shots.
He hardened his hand with his scale and grabbed the spikey hair with his gripped strength. He used the opposite side of his scaled hands to increase the grip. After he holds onto the spikey hair because of the strong power of her hair Peter was able to get away from being airborne and Hes now on the top of the tree.
"I'm glad it worked!" Chloe cheerfully said while holding Arvin's hands.
"Ugh... Ouch, ouch, ouch! Thank goodness it worked. " Peter said while getting up.
"Raahhh!"
The Mud Digger is enraged. It's repeatedly slamming the tree that he landed on.
Peter looked at Chloe and Arvin and nod, signaling them to prepare to counter attack.
-"Yeah! "
-"Yes, understood!"
They both uses their hybrid technique to target the Mud Digger while it's not looking at them.
"Porcupine's Hunting Mechanism: Multi Javelin Hair!
" Chimpanzee's Defense Mechanism: Trajectory Locked-On! "
Using Chloe's Porcupine Hunting Mechanism to attack the Mud Digger and Arvin's Chimpanzee Defense Mechanism to point her hair to the target that had been marked on they managed to land a critical hit to the Mud Digger.
Peter couldn't helped but be amazed on how they pulled off that kind of attack. He then jumped down and slam the head of the Mud Digger inflicting dizziness and restricting its movement.
"It's pay back time, sharky. Horned Anaconda's Hunting Mechanism: Death Coil!" He used his deadly grip to choke the Mud Digger but it wasn't enough to take him down.
"Another one! Horned Anaconda's Hunting Mechanism: Boiling Death!"
He spit a deadly venom on the Mud Digger and get away immediately. His venom attacks the target's immune system and it's five senses.
If the venom touches your eyes you'll get blind in an instant, if it touches your skin you'll get numb at your skin will melt slowly given your numbness you'll lose your skin without feeling anything or if you swallowed it expect a painful death.
The Mud Digger went on rampage couldn't feel anything and he became blind while his skin starts to fall to the marsh.
"Sorry for being so harsh, but we've got no choice." Peter said while watching the Mud Digger to lose its skin and slowly dying without feeling anything.
"Finish him, Chloe." Arvin said as he can't stand seeing the hybrid animal to suffer any longer.
"Yes!" Chloe agreed to him and had the same thoughts. "Porcupine's Hunting Mechanism: Hair Spear!" She looked away after she released her attack.
Her attack impaled the heart of the Mud Digger giving him an instant death. They jumped on ti the ground and checked the Mud Digger they confirmed that it's dead. They got the points that tyhe Mud Digger possessed.
Peter team have 440 points now leaving them a few hybrid animals to hunt.
"Let's move on." Peter said without looking back nor saying anything about what happened. All he can say is "Good wor, Arvin and Chloe."
Even him can't really control the power of his hybrid animal he can't avoid killing them in an instant instead giving them a painful or death that they couldn't tell that they are dying.
The blow of the wind on the forest echoed on their ears~~
This event make him realised that he need to become stronger in order to control his strength and to not make the hybrid animals suffer because of his inability to control his power.
They've reached the end of the forest it's a cliff and they saw an astonishing view of the vast forest from above. They saw many hybrid animals flying around it's new to their eyes.
"Woah... I didn't know that this forest have this majestic hybrid animals living beyond to this forest!" Arvin said in surprised.
"You're right I never thought I'd be able to see many hybrid animals gathered like this before." Chloe agreed to Arvin and was also surprised on what they're witnessing right now.
"It's astonishing indeed, but it's a mere facade of this world not everything on her will remain the same." Peter countered they statement and just focused on staring the view.
"Yeah..." Chloe just agreed to him.
"A- Anyways, let's just for a bit." Arvin said while being carful to not spoil the mood.
-"You're amazing earlier, Peter. "
-"Hmm, Thanks. "
After a while~
They starts to move again to find their next hybrid animal to gather more points they are currently have 440 points. And they need to hurry up because they only have one day to complete this task. It's already afternoon of the second of the practical exam and only a few teams are left. It's either they gave up or their points got stolen and got knocked out.
"Chloe, what would you do after we finished this exam?" Arvin asked her out of the blue.
" 'If' we passed this exam, I'll gonna have my beauty rest." Chloe replied to him.
Peter just looked at them and continued to walk.
After they battle against the Mud Digger they realized something that they need to become stronger in order to hunt more powerful hybrid animal and get themselves more points. But they are also need to face the opponents who's ready to ambush them at any time they let their guard down.
They've experienced their first hunt and it's not easy for them to move on because it's a tough battle for them.
After a long walk they encountered a team who's fighting with a hybrid animal.
"H... Hey! Look at them." Arvin pointed at the team who's fighting in front of them.
"Let's hide for now, let's wait for a bit." Peter said while slowly hiding behind the trees while quietly observing.
